A series of cassette variations in the turmoil of the days is opened by a collective improvement of high-class Russian craftsmen — VA Spazio Invasore Vol. 1.
The tape custom is fully equipped with collective images in the spirit of its time. Two sides come together: day and night, light and twilight. The rhythmic in-depth intro sets the pace with a touch of space disco, which is periodically warmed up by retrospective Indian chants.
A more dense continuation falls into the rut of modernity with airy synthesizer additives. As soon as the first side crosses the equator, acid projections mixed with Italian classics and a little whimsical freshness of new disco immediately begin to sound with bright inclusions.
The clever alternate combination of the same elements with the addition of high energy switches to the B side, demonstrating a bold modern look at production. Next, a color of intensity appears with a hint of Depeche Mode and Sovietwave, giving way to trance non-trivial indie dance, and then again going into the mysterious haze of acidity.
It's time for everyone to get their hands on a copy — the collection is already on the shelves!

A call from Turkey and the world to all music enthusiasts!

On February 6, 2023 Turkey and Syria were struck by two massive earthquakes (7,7 - 7,6 on the richter scale) in one day. The severity of the earthquake, the size of the area, the demographic and the large number of people being caught unprepared, combined with the harsh weather conditions, dramatically heightened the effects of this disaster. Since then a lot of local and global efforts have been put together to gather and transfer urgent help to the area, however these efforts are unfortunately inadequate in the face of the size of this catastrophic event. In a bid to help our country and its neighbours, Müstesna Records (TR) have decided to put together a relief compilation in collaboration with Ransom Note on their Dance Music From Planet Earth compilation label (UK).

As of now 48 artists from around the globe have contributed some of their beautiful work. The compilation will be released in two parts with the first part shared on Wednesday 1st March. If we all unite as music listeners, nightlife enthusiasts and all those in between, we will be stronger in size and strength.

Music brings us all together, regardless of our geographic location. We hope that everyone falling under this roof believes in sharing beautiful collective memories, as well as tragedies.

Following on from the celebrated first instalment, the second part of The Male Body Will Be Next compiles an entourage of daring sonic experiments, composed in response to bell hooks’ landmark book The Will to Change. Prompting artists and musicians to envision cross-gender solidarity, Osàre! Editions founder Elena Colombi presents an enrapturing, narrative album, conceptualised around collective transformation.

Resonating with hooks’ challenge to men to reclaim the sensitivity that patriarchy denies them, the name of the record arises from a photograph by Peter de Potter and Rebecca Salvadori’s film of the same title. In these depictions, naked flesh is exposed, made vulnerable and trembles with emotion as the fragility of masculine bodies are examined through the queer and female oppositional gaze. Transforming this visual language into musical expression, The Male Body Will Be Next swirls with punk vitriol, electrified noise, acid, electro and free-wheeling encounters charged by love, lust and limerence.

Gently plunking chords signal Pose Diva’s reimagining of lover’s rock before Sissy Fuss smashes in with a heavy-weight instrumental version of their erotic anthem ‘No Restraint’.
Made up of Turkish musician Etkin Çekin and Belarussian songstress Galina Ozeran, God is God delivers a gentle lullaby, while Low End Activist flirts with dark and brooding bass, shattering penetrating frequencies into luminous fragments. Riffing off the 2020 documentary about female early electronica pioneers, Loma Doom crafts a slowly oscillating drone zenith, the ultimate climax. In line with the conceptual underpinning, there are plenty of collaborations – Daytripper’s Riva and Sitar player Tommy Khosla, Lebanese experimentalist NAR and Swiss-French producer John Silvestre (AKA Typhon), as well as Colombi herself and trans author/activist Juno Roche. Within these partnerships, new modalities come alive as mediums, practices and perspectives are ignited and pushed in otherworldly, metamorphic directions.

Through his music journey he invites the listeners to abandon preconceived notions of dance music and embrace the experimental, spontaneous and unstructured elements of his productions, his aim is to create a sonic world that transcends cultural, geographical and genre boundaries and encourages listeners to embrace diversity and experimentation. He Released music on Multi Culti, Haus Of Beats, Nein Records, Hard Fist, Electric Shapes and Warning (to name a few) and on Italo Moderni and Slow Motion Records as ½ of “Primo”. He even shares the stage and the studio with Treasure Island which together formedentities of various shapes: the mystical trips of Future Island (soon on Multi Culti) but even the unpredictable Eurospeed (a pitchfading project released on Fu.Me. Records.) Valerio also run a studio (Le Pianole Studio) offering mixing and mastering services.

R$N Records are hyped to launch new sub-label, Dance Music From Planet Earth, with a compilation of rave heritage: Richard Sen presents Dream The Dream: UK Techno, House and Breakbeat 1990-1994. First single, Amaranth - Love Lies Bleeding - Bandulu, was first released on Infonet in ’92: Italo synth samples, vibes and ambient techno all thrown into the mix. Bandulu were 90s UK techno pioneers who collaborated with Carl Craig & alongside Detroit producers, their vision of techno music was influenced by UK reggae soundsystem culture combined with NYC Zulu Nation Hip-Hop & graffiti culture.
