Track 9 from Imaginary Friends is called A Call To Arms. It was written the day after the 2016 presidential election and is a cry out for change in a crumbling and failing system that may have just voted into power a proverbial 'straw that will break the camels back".

The Story so far...
When last we left Portland’s most loved subconscious rapper, he was rushing back to the city he loves and calls home following a vicious and hard fought rap battle, hosted by Teambackpack.

While the World Underground LA competition had ultimately ended in loss; new bonds of friendship had been forged, and it was time to tend to wounds and rest.

While Whysir had been away however, his city had fallen further into chaos:

Terrorist threats from violent, racist, and homophobic gangs have been on the rise following the last presidential election, and are now spilling into the streets.

The trust and smiles between neighbors have turned to darting eyes and worried looks away to avoid suspicion or accusation.

Mega corporations’ foothold in the minds of the citizens offer reprieve in escapism;  through glowing screens fueled by coal and fossil fuels, they are now destroying the real world they claim to augment.

The world is almost completely empty of love or care on a large enough scale to make any difference to the CEOs and billionaires that all but run everything now.

The odds are stacked against humanity, and it seems our only hope rests in an unlikely hero who thought his adventure was already over.

But, little does Whysir know; his journey is only just beginning, and it’s about to take a turn for the strange...
