The Light

This is a song I wrote about an ex, but I wanted to tell it through the lens of a B-horror movie. I want the listeners to feel stranded out at sea, lost to old throws of a lingering passion that keeps you tethered to a sinking boat, like a curse of a siren. The song is intentionally equal parts creepy and chaotic, a view into the realization for me that the person I really cared about doesn't feel the same, and isn't coming back to save me.
