During an odyssey I recently undertook, I discovered this snippet of text in the Museum of Literature in Dublin. It’s from "Ulysses" (1923) by James Joyce (1882-1941) and I liked it immediately. The passage comes from the episode "Cyclops", in which the novel's hero, Bloom, opposes division and prejudice.

The picture shows the very first printing of the first edition of the book, exhibited in a display case on the third floor of the museum.

This one began with a question — one that came with no need for an answer.

When Victoria Franklin reached out to us, it was not as a promoter or strategist, but as a rare listener:
one who perceives not just sound, but the space between.

In her message, she spoke of a silence she carries,
a kind of remembering that pulses faintly beneath the surface —

So we listened.
And The Inner Question emerged — not as a product,
but as a field.
Not as a reply, but as a home for the unspoken.

Each of the tracks in this album follows the same law:
No answers. No hooks.
Only frequencies that accompany.
Rhythms that do not insist.
Melodies that dissolve before resolving.

There are no lyrics — because this is a conversation with the soul.
And the soul doesn’t always use words.

We composed in E minor, with suspended intervals and dorian openings.
Every beat breathes like fog over still water.
Pads shimmer and drift.
Bells mark time like a slow ritual.
The kick is warm — more heartbeat than percussion.
The bass carries memory.
The silence holds it all.

This is not music for playlists.
This is music for twilight walks, for candlelight, for the moments you ask a question
— not because you expect an answer —
but because something inside wants to be witnessed.

We dedicate this offering to Victoria Franklin —
not just for her words,
but for the field of resonant stillness she reminded us is possible.

My music isn't very categorised. I have quite some categories I think. I just want to make everything I think of when I hear synths and sounds and even sing along when I feel like.

A lot of experimenting, f*cking around and finding out, getting happily lost in the world of sounds 🥰 Meanwhile trying to master the endless possibilities of digital music making. FL Studio, a midi keyboard and me.
