Alright everyone, here goes nothin! A couple of months ago I was contacted by the management of an artist named Neon Hitch to do an official remix of her new single "Gold" featuring Tyga. The first time I heard the song I wasn't really sure about how I could make it work with the style of music that I compose, but I found some real excitement in the challenge, and also in the opportunity to collaborate and work with some of these artists making big time moves in the music industry. The process of breaking down and recomposing this song was actually really fun for me, and inspired some new techniques with a style that I don't think I shoot for enough! Well after I finished it, I sent it back, and the entire team had nothing but ecstatic responses, even the record label, Warner Bros Records. Well, long story short, after all of the excitement , something was lost, a bridge in the communication somewhere, and WB decided to move on with the remix EP, without my remix. Sad day, but it reminded me why I really wanted to take on this project in the first place. 1) To take a challenge and see what I could create with it, 2) to create more art that I can share with all of the people who support me and my movement of light, aka, all of you. In 2012, Microsoft recognized that direct audience connection and chose Wick-it to produce a song for their Windows 8/Angry Birds: Star Wars commercial that they blasted to millions of prime-time viewers. Even before that in 2010, Big Boi of Outkast picked up his mashup project ‘The Brothers Of Chico Dusty’ which helped projectile his popularity. To add even more fuel to the fire, in 2015 Sia picked Wick-it’s remix to be her official remix for ‘Elastic Heart’. Since then he has done official remixes for the likes of Kesha, ZZ Ward, KC & The Sunshine Band and Figure.

With successful headline tours supplemented by huge sets playing with Skrillex, Pretty Lights, GRiZ, Herobust and others, it’s obvious his talent and success extend far beyond the studio.
