Here it is folks, "Something More", the single off my upcoming debut album "The Road To Something Perfect". The song represents the mood and style I am trying to capture - that feel-good bluegrassy vibe with a nice dose of upbeat funk and bounce.

 One of Muti Music hottest new artists makes his mark for another year with an album of dubbed out, glitchy bass tracks and instrumental Hip Hop. 
    Heyoka became one of the west coasts most sought after artists last year, which has led to more international engagements in 2009, with festival bookings in Australia and Canada in addition to maintaining a hectic US touring schedule. His early influences in Downtempo, Dub and IDM combined with more recent mid-tempo dancefloor genres have helped create a very unique sound that combines relentless basslines, hip hop and dub rhythms with a lot of musicality and melody.
    The continual evolution of Heyoka’s productions and his ability to continue to sound uniquely ‘Heyoka’ is evidence that the road for this young producer is going to be a long and prosperous one.

2min preview clip of - ‘Second Stomp’ - Daytoner's second seven inch single release from the 7 piece band. Fans of their ‘Needed You’ debut, which received airplay on BBC 6 Music and BBC Radio 1, will be even happier with ‘Second Stomp’, Daytoner’s rewrite of a stomping 60s northern soul instrumental coupled with Lucy Richards’ tale of standing by her man. DJs familiar with Daytoner’s ‘Shedit’ releases may recall an earlier version of this idea but, as with the rest of the tracks on the forthcoming LP, the band have completely remade, replayed and rewritten this idea into a new sample-free floor-filler of their own.

'Second Stomp' & 'I Get By' are released on 7" single on Cabin Pressure Recordings in all good vinyl stores from Friday 18th May including their Kudos and Bandcamp stores. Digital downloads & streaming from Friday 1st June.

Daytoner’s debut band LP ‘Off The Hook’ is to be released at the end of June following a launch night in the Guildhall of Lucy’s hometown, St Ives, Cornwall, on Friday 8th June where they will be performing tracks from the LP plus the very first vinyl copies off the press will be on sale.
