Punks are back! After a stunning debut in 2017 these guys are returning with new material. This record was influenced by the latest events connected with governmental issues with Russian club culture - raids, shutdowns of clubs and major festivals. Damage was inflicted on our beloved clubs and festivals such as Outline, Arma17, Rabitza. We admire our neighbors who fought for their houses and managed to protect them: Ukrainian Closer, British Fabric and Georgian Bassiani. 

This is a message about a sincere wish to save equality and independence. There’s no place for political games in our cultural life. Only freedom matters.

I recently found a whole bunch of mixes I did between 1992 and 1997 and have started the long process of ripping the cassettes to mp3.
As I work through them in no particular order I’ll put them up here for download.
Remember the sound quality isn’t great as they were all recorded through a mixer with no EQ and committed to cassette on a shabby home stereo…But what the hell, it’s that authentic 90s sound through and through.

This is the second in the series and, yes, I dislike the term 'intelligent' as much as you probably do but I never really figured out what we were supposed to call this stuff, even though we were in the thick of it at the time. If you have no idea what I'm talking about then you can read about 'intelligent d&amp;b' <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intelligent_drum_and_bass">here</a>

So anyway, if you like the whole <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Good_Looking_Records">Good Looking</a> / <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SqA47lc6nE0">Logical Progression</a> 90s thing, then this mix is right up your street.

WIDE Records is a London based Bass label with a global roster of 16 artists.

WIDE Records was founded in 2001, licensing critically acclaimed EPs by Debasser to Novamute and a UK Bass Mix CD by DJ Cutlass Supreme in 2003.  Following licensing agreements with GTI Recordings, Input-Output & Seed Records, WIDE Records released its debut digital EP, “The Old Skool EP” by DJ Cutlass Supreme in 2006.
