Nach diesem Set mussten wir unbedingt ihren Sound in unsere Podcast-Serie aufnehmen. Jetzt freuen wir uns, Medha neben anderen großartigen Künstlern auf unserer Plattform zu sehen.

Hier noch ein paar Informationen zu ihrer Person


Medha ist eine in Leipzig lebende Dj und organisiert selbst Veranstaltungen als Mitglied des PVC 
Kollektivs. Zudem ist sie seit 2021 Co-host der bekannten Eventreihe Aequalis im Ifz. Ihre Leidenschaft für 
technoide Musik ist geprägt von ihrer ständigen Suche nach Inspiration und neuen Tracks, die sie mit 
einer Mischung aus Intuition und Überlegung in ihren Mixen zusammenführt. Geprägt von der Berliner und 
Leipziger Kultur- und Clubszene hat sie ihre eigene Art entwickelt, ihre Leidenschaft auszudrücken. Ihr 
Sound ist geprägt von prägnanten Basslines und raueren Elementen einerseits, aber auch von tiefen und 
treibenden Rhythmen und repetitiven Sounds. In letzter Zeit hat sie unter anderem in Clubs wie im Tresor 
Berlin, Ifz Leipzig oder Siroccoclub in Madrid gespielt.

After this Set, we absolutely had to get her sound on our podcast series. Now we are delighted to see Medha next to other great artists on our platform.

Here's a little bit more about her.


Medha is a Leipzig based Dj and promoter as a member of the PVC collective. Since the end of 2021 
she is the co-host of the well-known event series aequalis at Ifz. Her passion for technoid music is 
shaped by her constant search for inspiration and new tracks, which she brings together in her mixes with 
a mixture of intuition and thought. Influenced by the Berlin and Leipzig culture and club scene, she has 
developed her own way of expressing her passion. Her sound is characterised by concise basslines and 
rougher elements on the one hand, but also by deep and driving rhythms and repetitive sounds. 
Recently, she has played in clubs such as Tresor Berlin, Ifz Leipzig or Sirococlub Madrid.

<Menou / iwamaki> plays Drone＆Ambient techno DJ or LIVE in Japan.
She started DJ in 2015, at dommune in 2017, and played DJ at Contact Tokyo,VENT Tokyo,sound space α,kagurane soup etc...she started Live set in 2019. Her name when she plays Live set is Menou. In April 2013, she performed a live set at the Mostra Festival in Barcelona, Spain. In May 2023, at the spanish secret festival Perpendicular.
Her DJ&live approach is a deep drone journey. She's conscious of creating a deep sound with an approach of layering sounds.

2015年より東京拠点に趣味にてDJ活動を開始。
何層かのdroneの和音にexperimentalやnoiseを重ねたアプローチ。
2016年ドローン大学卒業。
2017年にはdommune出演。その後も神楽音、VENT tokyo、soupなどでDJを行う。
2019年よりMenou名義にてLIVE活動を始動。
2023年バルセロナMostra festival、マドリードPerpendicular festivalにてliveを行う。
Estrato Auroraとの共同トラックがFrequencia Introspectivaよりリリース。
7月にはOrbitandoよりソロトラックリリースなど、トラック制作にも注力している。

Droneベースに音の繊細な変化や展開を感じるアプローチを意識してDJやLIVEを行う。

Toxido Mask is someone who goes a bit deeper with her sounds, her approach to sound design and her DJ sets. You can’t help but to feel the storytelling and her passion for natural detail throughout it all. She is currently a resident at Tresor Berlin and oversees the artistic direction of the 'OMM Transmission' Podcast | Events series. You will find deep hypnotic textures intricately laced with elements of finely tuned energy. Toxido Mask’s background as a Sound Designer sees a meticulous approach to developing the rich character of her works, giving the listener an almost synesthesic experience.
