Just over a year has passed since the release of Kellerkind’s ‘Music is a Miracle’ album: now the Swiss talent finally delivers a new EP in the form of ‘Move Me’, which showcases how his sound has evolved. The title track is an atmospheric affair drawing you in with garage percussion, deep horns and icy synths, while the vocals add a layer of detachment. ‘Believe in You’ nods to classic Kellerkind by way of a disco groove – a neo-trance lead adds an extra twist however. Next up, Joachim Pastor turns ‘Move Me’ into a tour de force of musical wizardry, while Jiggler gets locked deep in the groove.

The bassline is long lasting and pumping, the melody is warm and hypnotic and everything is pulsating. It’s this discreet but strong voice which is makes you dreaming. It’s Marc DePulse on Einmusika. With his “No Place Like Home“EP he is opening new sound dimensions, full of intensive and sensible moments at the same time. After we started with “Imagine“, “Usambara“ comes with more straight and clubby parts and a direct message: This night will be special and full of energy. It’s a kind of dub rave atmosphere paired with brassy synths. “No Place Like Home“ brings the desire into your mind. The sound moves like echoes and the bass is clear and hard. The melody is breaking your heart - deep and dark, without any sunshine. “Never Leave Me“ finalizes that night trip. Sweet and Bitter, dramatic and freeing, dark and lightning. Doctor Dru has a rich, multi-layered history, which permeates into his output as a DJ, drummer, label head, composer, of course, and producer of his own emotive, wistful signature tracks.

In 2011, after hours locked away in his studio, Dru conceived “Juicy Fruit” and “Anymore” in collaboration with the Adana Twins. In 2012 his hit “The Voice of Dru” established him as one of the contemporary house movement’s main players. Being a number one charted artist over the course of several months placed him on the right musical path and so his follow-up “2KnowU” EP also managed to nail it in the same year. Remixes on OFF, JEUDI Records and Stil vor Talent followed those two hits together with the success of recent releases including the “Proper Lane” EP as well as a remix of Claptone’s huge hit “No Eyes”.

While being busy with touring and producing, Dru also cultivated his own label JEUDI Records, which was founded with his mates Davidé and Takeiteasy. Based on a tightly-knit family ethos Jeudi Records gives Doctor Dru a platform where he is able to truly express his love of music and to A&R new talent from around the globe.
