UPLIFTING ERA

Rosie are an enigmatic electro rock three piece from the North East. 
Recently hailed as Radio 1’s "Unsigned Band of the Week" with their single “Midnight,” they have a large northern fanbase due to the popularity of their live performances. These have included confetti/sweet firing cannons, extravagant
costumes and more rave paint than you can shake a glow stick at. This live show
combined with a bizarre energetic sound plays into their favour, drawing curious
festival goers to whichever tent or stage they might be at.
Headliners of Cultureshock Festival 2012, a slot previously held by Lethal Bizzle,
Little Comets, and the Young Knives, Rosie are no strangers to moving a large
crowd. This explosive performance included 20 + backing dancers, 5 extra drummers, an MC in a wheelchair, a nun, Jesus, a stage invasion of every other main stage
artist, and of course, a cannon that fires sweets.
In short, Rosie like to cause a scene.

"Atlantis opens with a mystically portrayed environment. The atmospherics suddenly transform into a set of cinematic antics thanks to the jazzy vibe that Saule introduces at the drop. Lead by funky samples used as percussive hits, the both energetic and enthusiastic drop hits the chest supported by both a weighty bottom end and the inventive use of a enriched snare full of interesting sounds. 

"Saule shows a completely different side to his tunes with Atlantis, as organics tend to rule the skanky vibes we normally identify him with. It is this out-of-the-box piece of music that will make you long for the summer days - perhaps standing in front of a sound system while the sun sets, with the querky sounds in the background to make it stick in the memory for quite some time."
