Mira is that rare kind of DJ whose music can immediately transport you into her world - a midnight circus in Berlin, where time loses all definition and anything becomes possible. 

Born in East Germany to a renowned photographer and a classical musician, she began DJing in 1996 and quickly rose to prominence as part of the growing underground techno scene around Leipzig and Halle/Saale. Her dedication to her craft and natural talent swiftly paid off with a series of rapid successes, leading her to substantially shape the electronic music scene of Eastern Germany from that point on. 

In 2006, Mira moved to Berlin, Europe’s capital of electronic music, where she found her musical home at the legendary Bar25. Situated on the banks of the river Spree with parties that lasted into the middle of the week, Bar25 was the true embodiment of Berlin’s club scene in the 2000s. In the company of notable artists such as Nu, Acid Pauli, Feathered Sun and Christopher Schwarzwälder, a musical language was being formed that looked past the minimal trends of the time towards a more nuanced, organic musical language. 

It was from this here that Mira rose to fame throughout Europe and the world, as she suddenly became a defining representative of a distinctive sound that was going global. Deep and soulful whilst always maintaining a continuous, sensual groove, Mira’s sprawling, hypnotic sets became the soundtrack for many an endless night at Bar25, Kater Holzig and now, Kater Blau. 

The centrepiece of Mira’s residencies at these clubs has been her yearly birthday event ‘Katzen Tanzen auf’m Tisch’, which runs for three days straight every December. Curated by Mira from a selection of old friends and new faces, the series has hosted a multitude of  then-unknown artists who have now gone on to tour the globe. In 2020, Mira’s birthday series came in the form of a compilation for the first time, showcasing the spirit of her events over 43 original tracks. Also a year-round booker at Kater Blau and curator for the Kater-affiliated label Kiosk I.D., Mira’s fingerprints are all over the sound of the club.

In the studio, Mira often collaborates with her partner-in-crime Christopher Schwarzwälder, and the two of them have released a host of chart-topping singles. This partnership has since carried on to dancefloors globally, where their legendary back-to-back sets make for a perfect musical dialogue between the two artists, who share a deep understanding and love of sound.

Mira has been at the height of her game for the past twenty years, continuously shaping the sounds around her, and never ceasing to push inspiring new artists. As happy playing in a small underground club in East Germany in the 90s as she is playing to thousands of festival-goers at Burning Man - Mira is one of those artists of whom you can truly say that she’s doing it for the love of the music. 

Every time a new track by some undiscovered producer falls into her lap is a new moment to fall in love again with her craft, and spread that love with the tens of thousands who hear her play.

Jego historia rozpoczyna się w Szczecińskim klubie Neuron w roku 2002, gdzie zaraził się uwielbieniem do winyli oraz do mixowania cięższych odmian gatunku - hard techno.
Przez kolejne lata jego styl grania oraz odbiór muzyki ewoluował. Kolekcja płyt rozszerzała się. Tempo mixowanych utworów prezentowanych w klubach zwalniało. Hard techno stopniowo zostało zastąpione detroit techno. Zwalniając tempo jeszcze bardziej rozpoczął granie tech-house czy minimal techno. To co aktualnie prezentuje określa mianem deep house, house, deep disco, które idealnie odnajdują się w jego setach granych w Szczecińskiej przestrzeni miejskiej. W sezonie letnim można go posłuchać i spotkać na rejsach przy zachodzie słońca na Statku Joanna, weekendowych wieczorach na bulwarach czy otwartej przestrzeni Rotundy Północnej.

Terr is the exciting musical project of Daniela Caldellas, the Berlin-based DJ/producer and label owner, who grew up in Brazil’s Belo Horizonte.

Her music experiences come from a long time - after spending her earlier years playing guitar in several punk bands, she decided to learn the basics of computer music to be able to express more complex ideas - “Electronic music allowed me to bring to life the sounds that I had in my mind,” she says. She became a studio addict, investing in analog synths and effects to work on her sonic experiments. 

Terr was born in 2016 as her first solo project. Its name stems from the 1970’s film “Fantastic Planet”: Terr is the name of the main human character. The debut release, a three-track EP titled Burn the Past, landed on Scuba’s Hotflush Recordings, followed in early 2017 with Misantropicalia — which extended Terr's musical horizons. 2018 saw the release of two solid EP’s on both Permanent Vacation and Correspondant, respectively. 

In 2019 Terr began her fruitful partnership with Phantasy Records - “I have always been a fan of the label and of Erol Alkan. I really like the way the label is focused more on the artistic and experimental side of electronic music. That's the kind of label and philosophy that attracts me and makes me want to work on something." Two EPs were released that year: the acclaimed Tale of Devotion and Energy Sync - which was the soundtrack for Moschino’s Fall Winter 2020 Fashion Show. Now Terr makes a triumphant return to Phantasy with a deeply dreamy new single, Wings of Time, complimented by a momentous remix from Tornado Wallace. 

Caldellas has set up her own label Clash Lion, alongside Shall Ocin and Daniel Watts. The label broke through instantly with the first release seeing Maetrik’s resurgence in a number of years. Since then the label has seen numerous artists pass through the gates including ANNA, Man Power and many more. In 2018 Caldellas released Dust on Clash Lion with remixes from Curses, Cardopusher and fellow label founder Daniel Watts. Throughout her career, Terr also did a bunch of killer remixes for artists like Tiga on Turbo Records, Rüfüs do Sol on Warner Music, and Ora the Molecule on Mute Records, among others. 

At the moment Terr's working on new EPs and an album for 2022 - “I am working on different things at the moment, I think I would be too bored if I had to work on the same style over and over,” she smiles. “I am doing some stuff that’s more "epic" and dance-floor-oriented as well as some romantic breakbeat and reshaped electro. I am really excited with the new stuff.” As for her inspiration, she has a huge myriad of influences: from Grunge to Electroclash through classic Disco, Philip Glass, The Knife, Leonard Cohen, acid house, techno, Brazilian popular music, movies and books - “I believe that ideas are waves of energy flowing through the cosmos and artists are like antennas. I try to keep myself and my senses wide open to welcome them”.

Katermukke isn’t just a label; it’s an evolving sonic odyssey. Each release adds to its dynamic narrative, showcasing a relentless quest for musical innovation. The label seamlessly blends diverse electronic genres—from the hypnotic depths of melodic house and the driving pulse of techno to the dreamy realms of electronica and the infectious beats of indie dance.

Founded in 2011 by the visionary Dirty Doering and Sascha Cawa, Katermukke emerged from Berlin’s vibrant electronic scene as a sanctuary where music breaks boundaries and invites endless exploration.
