Born and raised in Hattiesburg, MS, Allen started playing guitar around 15 and was heavily influenced by Neil Young's "Harvest" album. He has since gone on to write songs and perform solo and in 2012 scored the soundtrack for the Independent Feature Film "Hickory Never Bleeds". His first official EP "Spirit Land" was released in the Fall of 2014 and in the Summer of 2022 he released a new EP entitled "Farr Gone".
