Wild Array’s debut record That Night is not about a singular night. It is about the nights that stand out in the span of a lifetime. Everyone experiences a multitude of these evenings. They aren’t frequent, but they’re felt. They’re memorable because of loss, love, beauty, laughter, friendship, nostalgia or perhaps some other powerful emotion that lingers long after the night has passed. Rather than subscribing to one particular sound or genre, this collection of songs journeys through folk, rock, and dance styles. With the strums of pedal steel, arpeggiations of synthesizer and sampled sounds for texture the variety of sonic landscapes invite the listener to dance, cry, go for a drive and hug a friend.
