Thanks for telling me (and meaning it!) to keep at the music when the kids started to arrive, even though I decided the right thing was to do was to hit the ‘pause’ button, get a ‘proper’ job and raise a family. Thanks for those 3 wonderful kids! Thanks for being there every time I’m lost in the dark. And thanks for supporting me in May when I decided to retire early, hit the ‘play’ button and refocus on my music. The very least I can do for your birthday is to try my best to capture your essence in a piece of music so here it is. If you know Kay, you’ll get it. If you don’t? Then this gift is for you as well.
