No matter if playing live or compiling a mix, Floloco, or Florian with his real name, strives to create something whole. The result is hard to pigeonhole as he moves across genres although never losing his signature theme: an intense ride through electronic music; cinematic, dramatic, yet never missing that particular groove. 

The electronic music enthusiasts has his own show “Sonorous” on Frisky radio and runs Schirmchendrink, the globally regarded brand with delicious “cocktails” of underground electronic music (and, admittedly, an incredibly hard-to-pronounce name). The original concept just celebrated its 200th episode anniversary past December. 

Together with his good friend, Benoit, Florian is further part of the deep electronica duo Gimérique. After founding Schirmchendrink together in 2016, they today work in tandem to bring dreamy electronic music into the air with releases on labels such as Sound Avenue or Harabe Recordings.

HoloFlow Episode 1 Floloco

This track has been such a fun journey — experimenting with all kinds of synths, drum machines, and my voice — and I’m thrilled to throw it out there.

I’ve prepared two versions for different settings: an instrumental one and the original mix with vocals. With this track I wanted to build an evolving journey — starting groovy, moving through more soothing and immersive moments, and then hitting with darker, hypnotic drops. It’s my take on the deeper shades of house with a strong kick and bass driving it forward.

The months of January and February did not feature in earlier versions of the Roman calendar, which divided the year into 10 months and left 61 days unaccounted for in the winter. They were added around 700 BCE.

January and February were initially the last months of the calendar year, which began in March (Martius). However, in 450 BCE, the beginning of the year was moved to January 1.

January originally consisted of 30 days when it was added to the 10-month Roman calendar. However, a day was added making it 31 days long in 46 BCE by Julius Caesar.
