Biography
Marc de la Haye is a DJ and upcoming producer who’s based in the cities Bern and Fribourg. He’s well known for his sets, inwhich he wanishes the boardes of electronic music and ancient, tribalistic elements. 

Marc gave his attention to electronic music when he started doing radio emissions for a local student radio in Fribourg, Switzerland. Together with his friend Bronson, they’ve formed a duo project called “The RetroFuture” in 2014, which dissolved a few months later. In April 2015, the two lads formed the House and Techno label DIFFIKULT in cooperation with Sonidy and Gesang- & Klanglos. Within the following years, the label became one of the leading event labels in city of Fribourg.

In December 2015, Marc experienced a turning point in his musical living. Being part of the crowd at the well-known “Transmusicales de Rennes” in France, the performance of artists like Mawimbi and others really touched him. Inspired by what he witnessed at this festival, he started to focus more on atmospheric and shamanistic sounds in his sets and podcasts. Today, Marc de la Haye stands for spiritual, tribalistics sets, inwhich he performs surgeon-like crossovers. 

Aside his work as a DJ, Marc de la Haye is the man behind the events and promotions of the DIFFIKULT label. Furthermore, he formed the comittee for electronic music at the club Fri-Son with other label oweners and headed the communications and promotion for the Duplex Festival at Fri-Son for four years. 

Within the last years, Marc had the honour to share the decks with several well-known artists such as Inga Mauer (shtum / RU), Busy P (Ed Banger Records / FR), Soukie & Windish (URSL / DE) or Christian Löffler (Ki Records / DE). Marc de la Haye has been featured on different podcast series such as Oslated Mixes (KR), Velkan Records (AR), Never Ending Dream (DE) or The Deep Control (RU).

In May 2019, Marc created a new label and community called Wild Silence, a project dedicated to the connection of eletronic music and ethnic sounds. Be part of this journey and discover @wildsilence-music!

Im from Porrentruy (Jura) CH (Switzerland), the "local" (SoundRoom) was an important place in my youth. Jamming at the Drums with friends were enjoyable moments in early 1991. We had a keyboard player who own one of the first sampler keyboard AKAI to make industrial sounds. The Young Gods has been an influence for my electronic music interest. 

I had the opportunity to work at Analog Service (Burgdorf) as an elektroniker in 1995 that was my start in electronic music world. We imported analog systems modular system like Moog C3, Korg PS-3200, Fairlight, OBerheim Expander. I was repairing and implementing some midi kit to link with computers.
I was playing in the past with only analog gears such Roland TR-serie, TB-303, Korg MS20, SQ10, all were sequenced and sync together I did  not link at computer on stage. My Scene nick name was STEE-V in early 1996. 

I met ICOON artist and Rude Voltage came out, together we had an amazing amount of analog gears at the studio. Was very nice to connected all this fourniture together by any little sync boxes. We played live act in some parts of Switzerland, Bern, Basel (Nordstern), Jura, Tessin (Festivale del arte Electronica) organized by Mister Reed Blue. 

An other project in 2005 came out with my friend 3pleK called "Starskyandtouch". We had a couple of live act which took place in Vevey (Le natio,sauna club)and Delémont(SAS) in our Native canton. At this time we mix ableton and electribes series on stage.

By now music has been controlled by computer and once in a while we put out our old gears together mixed with new technologie such ELEKTRON Product and Ableton live to produce some sounds. 

2014 I was back on stage with the Festival "Les Digitales" in lugano, LivingRoom club in Lugano. 2 nights also at "Sauna Club" in Vevey. I do also mix the gear and computer. Ableton + controller + new Roland aira Series, a rocket Waldorf, effect like kaoss pad is also part of my weapons.

Recently I join the crew of "Low Frequency Foundation"  based in Zürich. We did 2 Events at Sauna club in Vevey with Vasco and Fabio Papa this year 2015.
Back to studies in 2016 I won't be able to spent time under music,,,, See you in 2017 for some event with the LOW FREQUENCY FOUNDATION Crew ! Bis bald !
