Lucas Khabie a.k.a. "Kabi (AR)" is a DJ and music producer from Buenos Aires, Argentina. He began his studies at the age of 10, playing the guitar, and later continued with percussion instruments like Congas, Cajón, Surdo, Claves and Body percussion. At the moment he is studying a variety of composition and improvisation techniques.

As one of the brightest talents in the electronic music scene, Henry Saiz has crafted a unique path in his musical career. Not following any trends and refusing to fall into any category with his trademark sound that combines influences from club music and a wide range of styles like 80 ́s pop or progressive rock to name a few, his constant growth across the globe enabled him to spread his art to new audiences. In his first days as a DJ, Saiz released almost exclusively with big labels "with a focus on melody and community", as he puts it: Renaissance, Global Underground and Bedrock. He then created his own label Natura Sonoris, and by 2011 he had multiple Essential New Tunes, DJ Mag's label of the year, as well as released his critically acclaimed Balance DJ compilation. With his debut album titled "Reality Is For Those Who Are Not Strong Enough To Confront Their Dreams" (2013), he became one of the first musicians to crowdsource some of the album’s sounds. It's part of Saiz's self-effacing approach to even this most serious of artistic endeavours: he humbly offers to be the host of an intense, ongoing conversation between fans. Today Saiz is in a very fertile stage of his career. Still wanting to get closer to the crowd, he's returned to his first love - live bands - with an electronic trio that, apart from his solo performances, he’s also regularly touring the world with. Main highlights of the live band concept were their Boiler Room debut back in 2015 where guys delivered absolutely outstanding performance full of soul, powerful grooves, seductive vocals and thrilling emotions showing their particular approach to house music; as well as the launch of a world-traveling audiovisual project through Kickstarter in 2016 that achieved a huge success. One of the most loved names on the Australian dance music scene, Kasey Taylor made his mark in his hometown of Melbourne before John Digweed scouted him in the mid- nineties to play at his infamous Bedrock night in London. That was the catalyst for Taylor to take his sound to a global audience, leading to international exposure and a permanent move to Portugal to satiate the demands of his worldwide bookings. Currently, he is the creative power behind no less than three record labels. Karl Pilbrow's passion and appreciation for music has been a lifelong affair. Originally coming from New Zealand, he moved to Melbourne in early 2012.
In the years following Karl began to experience the outdoor festival culture the city is renowned for, he could not help but fall in love with electronic music. This new-found affection took him to all parts of the globe, intent on learning more about the outdoor music culture, the communities involved, and most importantly… the music.
Fast forward to today and you’ll find one of the best exponents for Progressive House in Melbourne. Atmospheric, melodic, uplifting and groovy, Karl has dedicated himself to refining a sound that is true to himself and the music that inspires him.
In a career that only began five years ago Karl’s meteoric rise already seen many highlights. These include playing sunset on Sunset at Rainbow Serpent 2019, warming up for Guy J and Roger Martinez, playing after Nick Warren.

Handsdown is a Melbourne-born DJ and producer with over 15 years of experience shaping dance floors through a refined blend of progressive, indie dance and techno. Known for emotive, driving sets that balance atmosphere with forward momentum, he has toured extensively across Australia, appearing at many of the country’s biggest festivals and parties and earning a reputation as a reliable, high-impact performer.

We've been able get to know Patrice well over the past few years and it has made being part of sharing this piece of music even more special . He is an extremely talented artist but more importantly a beautiful person, you can't help but hear that in his productions and sets. Patience, love, and connection to the audience. 

For us this set was easily one of the best of the festival, setting the tone for one of the greatest blocks of music in Rainbow history with Michael Mayer, Petar Dundov, and Shlomo to follow. 

This is as good second time around as it was Sunday evening on the market stage... ENJOY!!

“Ahead of my GU42 Berlin album release on March 29th, I wanted to share a very special live set from the other side of the planet. Like Berlin, Rainbow Serpent is an anomaly on the rave map. This mix will be online for a very limited period only:

The best dance floor in the world. That’s the Market Stage of Rainbow Serpent Festival to me. The energy of the Rainbow tribe, the rabid vibe and feeling of unity are difficult to describe to anyone who has not been here. Simply standing on the dancefloor and experience this incredible sound system is one of life’s finer pleasures. I felt absolutely honoured to be trusted with the task to close the festival. Looking onto the dancefloor from the dj booth, the Market Stage painted a beautiful picture. The atmosphere was electric and love-drunk all day, Nick Warren and D-Nox brought their A-game.

This is my third year in a row playing here and the absolute highlight on my yearly calendar. In these years my wife and I have made friends for life here, which is why we release this mix with our beloved Wildwood crew. We have grown extremely fond of Australia as a country. This place has received us with open arms from day one and never fails to blow our minds in many different ways. It has become our second home.

This podcast was started just over three years ago and since that time has grown into something none of us expected, for that we are truly thankful to the artists that keep the music flowing and the listeners who tune in every week.

This week is very special as we have one of the true legends of the outdoor festival scene, James Monro. Not only that, James has made us two mixes of his own originals and remixes...

Born in the UK and now settled in South America, James Monro's immersion within the music industry goes back some 30 years. Having been classically trained at school, James' musical influences diverged into a long and keen love affair with all things electronic. From his initiation into the otherworldly sounds of Yello, Jean Michelle Jarre, Tangerine Dream, Visage, Human League, Brian Eno, Georgio Moroder and the more left field electronic experimental bands of the early 80's, and combined with a deep love of the psychedelic bands of the 70's, disco and early hip hop, it was inevitable that he fall into a passionate relationship with electronic dance music. He entered into club land, journeyed through the early daze of Acid House, the uk's "summers of love" in '88 and '89 , onto the beaches of Goa in the early '90's and out into the global circuit of parties and festivals that have since become his playground. All the while collecting the music as he went, finding and forging his own sound, and starting up the now legendary Flying Rhino Records with 2 friends in 1995.

With his countless influences, musical prowess and production skills, as a DJ, James weaves a heady journey through all styles of dance music. So much so that it's impossible to truly define his sound. Suffice to say it's deep, its hypnotic, it's emotional and above all fat and funky. James is always pushing the boundaries of what constitutes house or techno, and his passion for his craft has never faltered - his global schedule is testament to that. He's been touring the globe for over 20 years, and still can't get enough. He has played along side many of the leading lights of dance music - Carl Cox, Nick Warren, Sasha, Hernan Cataneo, Sven Vath, John Digweed and Dave Seaman, to name just a few. He has also played in some of the most famous clubs in the world, including Amnesia in Ibiza, Heaven in London, Womb in Tokyo, The Edge in Sao Paulo plus many of the best festivals and open-air parties on the planet - all the while garnering ideas and inspiration that have made him both a finely tuned producer and phenomenally passionate DJ who has cemented his name as a popular and seasoned favourite within the underground music scene…..

Since 1996, his work has put his career on a slow and steady ascent. Along the way, Subandrio has gained years of experience, winning accolades along the way and unrivalled musical diversity as both a producer, remixer and a performer. 

This alone has earned him respect among techno and house legends, purists, and contemporary DJs. He now performs regularly around the world at some of the most reputable clubs and festivals along with some dodgy, sleazy warehouses and beach parties in-between.
