German by name, Spanish in origin, German Brigante is one of the new generation of Spaniards breaking through and bringing some flair and Mediterranean heat to the house world. He's the man behind this week's excellent podcast, so make sure you scroll down to the bottom of this article to check it out and prepare your body for a workout because it's full of bumping tunes from beginning to end.

German Brigante hails from Malaga in the south of Spain and started to become a well-known name during the last couple of years. He's been on a steady ascent since his early releases and 2013 was the year when he really started to get some traction. In fact, in 2013 he was the 57th most charted artist on Resident Advisor - now, when you think about how many producers there are making house and techno music these days, that is actually a very respectable achievement.

In 2007 the GMJ project was born and has since landed on iconic imprints including

Spacious yet powerful, the GMJ sound has been supported by luminaries such as
Hernan Cattaneo, Cid Inc, Guy J, Nick Warren, Alex O’Rion, and regularly features on
the front pages & charts of the world’s biggest dance music retailer Beatport.com, with
numerous top 10 entries and a rise to the top 10 selling artists on beatstats in the genre.
Touring has followed extensively through his native Australia and beyond to locations
