After 30 years in the industry, Fractal Architect’s career continues to grow. Driven by a passion for music with depth and feeling, and underpinned by an unswerving attention to detail, this UK based artist is still performing at the top of his game.

Growing up in the musical melting pot of the 80’s and 90’s, where technological advances in sound generation created a new sonic canvas, the desire to innovate has always been strong. Influences ranging from Kraftwerk to Zappa, from Bach to Beck contribute to a unique sound that frequently defies genres.

With signings to some of the biggest hitters in the business, including Steyoyoke, Inner Symphony, Cinematique and Movement Recordings; Fractal Architect continues to demonstrate that good music will always find a way to be heard.

Depth Perception Sessions #86 - Fractal Architect

Lucas Zarate is a young DJ/Producer born in 2001 in Tucumán, northern of Argentina.

From a young age, he began to take an interest in the world of electronic music, exploring its more commercial side and discovering sounds that would later lead him to find a unique sound.

At the age of 18, he began his career as a DJ playing in well-known venues in his city, where he would form and slowly develop a distinctive sound.

year 2021 Lucas begins to develop as a music producer trying to captivate the ears of his listeners with fresh sounds, forceful rhythms and interesting melodies

2022 Currently Lucas continues to search for a sound that truly represents him but along the way he has already had enough achievements to know that he is on the right, path such as support from Nick Warren, Sebastien Leger and Gorje Hewek.

In the year 2023, Lucas joins forces with prominent figures in the Organic Scene such as Dulus, Molac, Alberto Hernandez, and Nicolas Viana to form the musical collective called "Sendas." The collective is dedicated to spreading electronic sounds with a Latin flavor. Currently, the project is gaining recognition and support from renowned artists in the scene, including Sebastien Leger, Volen Sentir, Gorje Hewek, and M.O.S, among others.

Andy has carved out a solid reputation on the underground music scene over the last number of years. He's seen releases on Perfecto Black, Bonzai, Manual Music, ICONYC, Stripped Digital, Probtech and Co-Owner of INU Musika Label with Gav Easby. He's played at some of the biggest events in his country, alongside the likes of Hernan Cattaneo, Nick Warren, Luis Junior, Dr Motte, also he has played B2B with the legend Sandra Collins, releasing their EP called "Insane" under Abstractive Music the best Mexican underground record label. His exploits have led him to work with many artists. In particular, Pedro Eustache – himself a celebrated artist having worked with some of the biggest names in music like Hans Zimmer, Paul McCartney, Yanni and many more. Belgium’s Bigasti and Switzerland’s Floloco work in tandem to bring dreamy electronic music into the air with a narrative mix of both, deep and thriving elements. Drawing from years of individual experience in the electronic music realm, Gimérique unites the signature sound of two artists to a new chapter on their promising path in the electronic music scene.

The inception of Gimérique took flight with a b2b DJ set released on Schirmchendrink, the renowned ‘cocktail’ platform they co-founded in 2016. Inspired by the synergy of their sessions, the duo recognized the opportune moment to elevate their collaboration to new heights.

With their first collaborative production in 2020, Gimérique took Lerr's 'Hummingbird' into deep and dreamy territory. Groovy and emotive in equal measure it made an auspicious production debut for Gimerique on Sound Avenue's first edition of their 'Re:Imagined‘ remix series. Gimérique's first original production was released in Spring 2020 on Harabe Recordings. 'Calm at Heart’ entered the Beatport 'Organic House' Top 100 charts within only few days.

Venturing into versatility, Gimérique recently shared ambient compositions as free downloads on their SoundCloud, showcasing a multifaceted approach to their artistry. As alchemists of sound, they are currently immersed in crafting new productions, promising an exciting continuation of their enchanting musical odyssey.
