the quick ascent from bass to high harmonics is one of the delicious aspects of yr instrument and playing. The overtones produced anchor the high play in an easily referenced tonal centre without it simply being an ostinato drone. Your work here also blur the line betwen attack and glissando really well, there is a near percussive sound created with feels out the timbre range. Its mood and dark part with a helathy amount of playfullness in it. fascinating listening

one of things i admire here is the command of space/pace. enough confidence to let each note ring and transform

October Grounds, 6, is the 1st of 2 album preview pieces that I am releasing.
I continue to evolve the mosesa instrument line, in this album I use a Cedar plate to filter and pre-amplify the string sounds, but I also use external and virtual pedal effects.
I improvise in what could be called "modern modal music", meaning that I reference each tone and timbre to the base tone of the instrument, but give myself full freedom of choices of tones and colors.
