In a sonic realm where human ingenuity intertwines with alien machinery, the enigmatic duo known as SCADTA emerges with their third EP, 'Klaatu Barada Nikto.' With an otherworldly blend of electronic textures and mechanical rhythms, SCADTA transports listeners into a dystopian dreamscape, where artificial intelligence meets ethereal creativity.

From the opening track, it's evident that SCADTA's musical universe is a meticulously crafted one. 'Klaatu Barada Nikto' sets the tone with glitchy atmospheres and intricate synth sequences that pulse like intergalactic transmissions. The track's ebb and flow mirror the uncertainty and anticipation of an extraterrestrial encounter.

The track, 'Hypnotic Meat,' unveils a more introspective facet of the EP. Here, SCADTA showcases their ability to evoke emotion through mechanized means. The fourth release on our imprint includes two modern disco tracks coming from Claudio Brioschi aka Brioski featuring Ruvido's usual suspect Luca Saponaro aka Sapo: the Back Home EP, out on the 8th of September. The record begins with 'Back Home' a downtempo track with African disco nuances driven by a relentless groove. The track features vocals and distorted guitars to create a unique sound, a magically perfect tune for starting warm-up sets or breaking the 4/4 routine 'We Can't Stop' is pure disco energy: in-your-face bassline, ever-changing rhythms, dreamy romance-style melody, all crafted to make the dancefloor EXPLODE.

brainwave research center - the NYC Electronic music duo of Chase Smith (W.T. Records, Apartment, Is/Was), & documentary filmmaker, Christa Majoras (School of Visual Arts) - returns with their 2nd LP, Mosaic.

Mosaic combines together analog synths with electro-acoustic experiments, vast soundscapes with intricate textures, and naive rhythms with pop melodies.

Following their debut in early 2023, brainwave research center continues their journey and experimentation in Electronic music while paying homage to their musical influences. Hints of Edgar Froese, Martin Rev, Ennio Morricone, John Carpenter, and early Kraftwerk can be heard.

Recorded and produced in Greenpoint, Brooklyn in the back of Smith’s synthesizer/electronic repair shop.
