cut down every tree.
Built statues to the sky
while they starved by the sea.
Why?
Because the code said “build.”
Because the tribe said “win.”
Because the instinct said
“Don’t let the old ways end.”

The Ming, the Mughals,
the Venetians too—
all fell from within
while the scholars drew
maps of glory,
charts of trade,
but never saw
the price they paid.

It ain’t fate.
It ain’t war.
It’s the loop they adore.
It’s the fear of change
that locks the door.
It’s the instinct to conform,
to protect the frame,
to kill the voice
that names the game.

So they collapse themselves—
not from lack of might,
but from the blindness
of inherited right.
From the comfort
that dulls the spark.
From the silence
that eats the dark.

And when it’s done,
they write the tale—
but never name
what made them fail.
Because the ones who write
are still in the trance,
still dancing
the collapse dance.

History don’t write it
’cause historians can’t see—
they’re bound by the same code
that brought down the dynasty.
