	Anthony Montanino AKA Yakramento, was born and raised in Sacramento, California and grew up to the beat of a drum. As a toddler he tagged along to gigs with his blues drummer dad. The pulse and the rhythm became part of his DNA. He heard the beat in everything he did from play to work: the sound of the ball hitting the basketball court, the clink of the dishes in restaurants, the pound of the hammer on construction jobs, the ka-ching of the cash register in retail.

	His personal soundtrack underscored his rapping when while freestyling with friends from his neighborhood and gained his reputation as a spontaneous and supple rapper who was surely about to take off. Yak’s chance came after a meeting on Sacramento City college campus with music producer Calvin “Big C” Moore of SlapMatic which led to a driving collaboration resulting in The Good, Da Yak and the Ugly, his debut recording mixtape which is hosted by one of California’s most decorated DJ's “DJ Fresh x3” who is known Nationwide for his unique sound and his host of his “Tonight Show” mixtape’s.
