AC Lightnin is an independent artist from New York, NY, currently residing in uptown Manhattan. His confidence, passionate delivery and witty and creative wordplays give both his music and poetry an energetic, upbeat vibe and a conscious feel.

At a young age, AC had a love for creative writing that later morphed into writing raps, film and poetry in high school. Growing up, he was influenced by Hip-Hop, Rock, R&B and artists such as Linkin Park, Tupac, Eminem, Lecrae, Andy Mineo to name a few.

AC started dropping music in 2017, dropped his first wave of music in 2019 but took music more seriously when he dropped singles like "Live Life" , "Redo" in 2020 and his 1st EP “Rehabilitation” later that year. His music has been featured on websites like Solomon's Porch, Trackstarz and CHH Source and YouTube channels such as More Than Music. AC Lightnin uses his Poetry, Film, Hip-Hop & Rap as a gateway to paint a picture of his reality, experiences as a black man and a Christian to tell stories in different areas of his life.
