Throughout the pandemic Hybrid has continued to flourish as a global hub for like-minded artists to connect and collaborate. There are no strict music laws here except that it has to be great and produced with love. Hybrid is about bringing people together to explore and create new approaches and fusions with electronic music. To spread the love further we are donating the proceeds of this compilation to Macmillan Cancer Research by working in partnership with Touched Music who have been a huge inspiration to us for all the good work they do and the amazing music they release!

Mika Regards has been DJ and musician since 2005. He's the co-founder of the community Strange But Dance Music from the heart of Siberia, Russia. He has had some great guest artists on his platform who have been presented on ours as well, namely JFrank, Sigma_ALgebra, ADJ, Scape One, X-Truder, Alavux, Vika Lynx, and has also been presenting some other amazing artists such as Dez Williams, Confluence, Sin:it:sin, Mike Stern, and many more.

The purpose and objective of this podcast is not only to explore all sorts of different facets of electro, but to also reveal the influence on music through the location of the artist. Mika brings with him something outrageously harsh and rebellious. If staggered rhythyms, and forceful melodies is what you’re after then you’ll love this.

For this 273rd Premiere of 2021, we have the "Jauzas The Shining Remix" of the track by the spanish duo, founded by techno dj/producer José Castillo aka Milford and David Aragón, "UHF" titled ‘Morning Glory’ from their forthcoming EP "Fact Or Fiction?" on the Electro label from Madrid runned by UHF and Elesox established in 2014 : Gladio Operations.

Gladio Operations is back with a new release, their first to appear in 2021.
On this occasion the UHF duo reactivate with this EP titled "Fact or Fiction", a body of work in which we once again discover different styles in their productions, something that is becoming a characteristic of the Spanish duo.

This EP opens with the track “Fact Or Fiction”, also the title of the EP, and where UHF gifts us with a steamroller of a track, with vertiginous drops and well accompanied by a masterful remix by the Romanian producer Andrew Red Hand, which converts it into a more emotional piece and highly influenced by the Detroit sound.

On the B side we encounter “Morning Glory”, a more atmospheric and enveloping cut,
accompanied by a fantastic 303-scented bass line. This track comes with another great
remix, this time by the French producer Jauzas The Shining, where he unveils a darker and deeper vision than the original cut.

The EP ends with “Like Bad At Things” a theme similar to IDM style, with an effective
mix of dark textures and melancholic melodies.

Dirk Wiertz is a dj & producer from Amsterdam, combining best of both worlds working in Amsterdams finest recordstore Concerto, making music & collecting records.
After hearing Newcleus’ Computer Age as a kid in the late 80’s he was hooked on electro music at a very young age.
Starting out with a Roland MC303 making electro tracks was all he would do, but soon many more drummachines & synthesizers filled his studio.
Now more inspired by the likes of Drexciya, Anthony Rother and many others he started developing his style and started podcasting monthly mixes with his electro faves.
Lately his track “Texel” was released on LBR records in March this year, delivering a blistering electro cut, followed by his debut EP “Grounded” on Cyberdomain records, released on cassette tape, which gained the support of Dark Science Electro, Jonny Moy and Dave Clarke.
“ It lends the hard-driving bass-lines muscular tension and elastic bounce. Combined with kinetic rhythms and drumbreaks, Wiertz delivers an on-point and low-end driven techno full of thrilling surprises.”

После того, как в конце 80-х в в детстве он услышал «Computer Age» Newcleus, Дирк увлекся электронной музыкой.
