London based artist EKATA is self-described as genre and sound obsessive. She has built a reputation as a huge advocate for purist Electro and a creator of a dark and warped experience.

Her Electro shows on Ripe Radio Manchester & Guest mixes with Hilltown Disco and Ear to Ground Records to name a few, have turned the heads of some of the most respected and well established artists of the underground scene, including the likes of Anthony Rother who has expressed his love for her vision.

EKATA is currently working on her own productions which are set to release this year. She also has a brand new residency for Specimen Records that started in November 2021.

EKATA Electro Dj Set @ Mars Frequency Records

In our twentieth episode and after two years of the Gladiocast series, we close the stage to open a new one. 

Serbian artist Alavux, who has released on Bass Agenda, 0ktag0n Records and Gladio Operations labels among others, closes this Landscape series with a super powerful mix suitable only for demanding clubbers. 

We want to thank all the artists who have been involved in this Gladiocast series for an unmatched quality in each of them.

Neurodancer is a Lisbon-based DJ for whom digging and sharing various strains of electronic music have been an obsession for years. Recently, he co-founded Capital Decay, a label that has showcased local talent across a wide sonic spectrum, through records, parties, and radio shows. For the dancefloor, he's all about physical and robotic sounds, without setting aside the voices and melodies that remind us that humans are still in charge — at least for now.

Syrte is the Electro & Experimental Electronica alias for Stefan Weise. The name was inspired by the French comic book Valerian & Laureline, the German editions of which Stefan read in his younger days. On page one of the first issue, “The City of a Thousand Planets” is named “Syrte”. 

What started as a way to explore new production methods quickly evolved into a character of its own making Syrte a completely faceless entity with a strong focus on alien and experimental music. Syrte is not about conforming to a set genre or sound. Stefan’s mission as Syrte is about exploring deeper relationships that humans have with machines and moral implications that arise from that and expressing that via music.

Syrte is co-owner of Electro and Experimental label Science Cult.
