Pretty Lights music holds a dear place in my heart, he's what got me into electronic music. I mean I listened to the big stuff ofc, Daft Punk, Pendulum, Deadmau5 that kinda stuff but when I came across PL on a music thread on an old blizzhackers forum I was just stricken. Nothing I had experienced with electronic music up until then had SOUL like PL, it completely shifted my outlook on electronic music as a medium. Ended up going to my first show and seeing him in Charlottesville VA in 2011 and got hooked on the scene ever since.

I wanted to make this tribute similar to his old "The Hot Shit" mixes, especially the first 1-100ish ones. Just old school PL mixed with some hiphop/groovy/soulful electronic tunes.
