Monte’s, a track about having somewhere in you locality where you can just go at most times of the night and listening to music. When Monte is there, he listens to your woes, tells a joke and shares some of his concerns. Who needs therapy when Monte’s is open.

The new single from Catford Gyrations will be released on 28th June 2024, and includes the first brand new material since last year's eponymous debut album.

This 2 track single is available to stream across all major platforms, and can also be downloaded via Bandcamp.

The space age electronic pop of "Land of 1000 presets" draws heavily from charity shop curios of yesteryear. Despite it's apparent analogue facade, it's an ode to how modern technology has provided access a vast library of virtual instruments that would have previously been unaffordable and taken up far too much room in my house. The track doesn't actually contain 1000 presets. It's probably more like a dozen or so, and I may have fiddled with some of the parameters.
