When it comes to stadium-sized techno, Dutch tastemaker Reinier Zonneveld reigns supreme. Over the past 13 years, he’s emerged as one of the Netherlands’ most prolific producers, DJs, event organisers, and label founders. He’s become a beacon for a new generation of ravers, drawn to his fast-paced, bruising beats that fuse the sensibility of techno’s past with the cutting-edge sound design of its future.
But there’s more to Reinier Zonneveld than just a leading producer of acid techno. He’s the founder of the acclaimed Filth On Acid record label, who’s ranked #22 in DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs and previously the highest new entry of the year, a Guinness World Record holder, an Edison Pop Award winner, and one of the most in-demand live acts in electronic music. Regularly performing in venues with over 25,000 visitors, his live shows have become a benchmark for the modern techno experience, powered by classic machines like the Roland 909, 101, and other synthesizers, which he manipulates in real time to create his signature soundscapes.
Reinier’s reputation as a visionary and pioneer extends far beyond his production. He’s the creative force behind the technologically forward-thinking R² Festival, where he became the first artist in the world to perform back-to-back with his own AI, just trained on his own music, enabling him to experiment with wild new technics on stage while he performs on his synths and drum machines. In 2025, he’ll take this groundbreaking concept even further with a 10-hour AI B2B live performance, featuring a holographic version of himself with real-time audio-visual manipulation — redefining what it means to perform live in the age of AI.
Classically trained on piano from the age of three, Reinier studied econometrics and earned two master’s degrees at Erasmus University in Rotterdam, where his devotion to electronic music first took shape. He began releasing minimal, experimental club cuts in the early 2010s — including ‘Vuur’, ‘Flashers’, ‘Find Muck’, and ‘Remember’ before unveiling his debut album, Reverse Psychology (2013).
By 2015, his sound evolved toward the darker, faster side of techno, showcased on Make Me A Promise and Final Judgement, and cemented with his 2016 album Megacity Servant on Stil vor Talent, featuring the hit ‘Things We Might Have Said’ with Cari Golden. His monumental fourth album Heaven Is Mad (For You) pushed him to new heights, featuring some of his biggest tracks to date — including ‘Dance With The Devil (The 6th Gate)’ (16M+ streams) and ‘Move Your Body To The Beat’ (29M+ streams).
Since founding Filth On Acid in 2017, Reinier has continued to shape the global techno scene, consistently holding the #1 position on Beatport’s techno charts and collaborating with artists ranging from Carl Cox, Speedy J, and Angerfist to Armin van Buuren and Oliver Heldens. Now approaching its 200th release, the label remains synonymous with innovation and quality, balancing underground credibility with global reach.
Recognised as one of the most productive producers in the scene, Reinier has amassed over 83 days’ worth of his own released music, a staggering testament to his creative drive and output. He has also played a pivotal role in shaping the sound and tempo of modern techno, being one of the first artists in the scene since to push BPMs beyond 140 to 145 in the second decade of the year 2000, setting a trend that has defined the genre’s energy since 2018.
In a live setting, Zonneveld is renowned for his marathon performances from a 12-hour set at ADE 2019 to the record-breaking 11-hour, 11-minute show at his own Karren Maar Festival in 2023. His technical mastery, fearless experimentation, and relentless energy continue to redefine the limits of what’s possible in live electronic music.
Reinier Zonneveld stands as one of the most forward-thinking and influential figures in contemporary techno — an artist who continually pushes boundaries, challenges convention, and leads the evolution of the global electronic scene.

Brokenears are two djs, producers and remixers.
Creative, eclectic, determinate are a few of their characteristics.

Their music productions are in an ongoing musical evolution and they research fresh inspiration at the cutting-edge of the international clubbing.

Their “old school” roots can be easily feel. Their performances range from the Deep-House to Tech-House, from the Soulful to Funky-House with tribal influences and vocal elements, not excluding any House Music genres.

2019 is a breakthrough year for Brokenears, their debut EP “Disco Down” on Downtown Underground went straight in the Traxsource House Top 10 peaking at no.8; supported into radio shows and Dj Set by Claptone, Purple Disco Machine, Supernova, ATFC and so many others.

They quickly release another EP “Feeling Good” again on the Supernova imprint, Downtown Underground, which goes easily to the no.3 in the Beatport House Top 10.
“Feeling Good” is supported right away in charts and Dj Set by Patrick Topping, Todd Terry, Roger Sanchez, David Penn, Ferreck Dawn, to name but a few.

This year has also seen Brokenears release music on Flashmob Records, with the single “Burn”, supported by many international Dj’s like ATFC, Alaia & Gallo, Watermat, Nhan Solo, Kevin McKay, and then on Lapsus Music with “Try To Believe” during the Miami Music Week and to celebrate also the Lapsus Music 10 Years.

Brokenears release a remix for the single “The Final Story” by Junior Sanchez, international house music icon, supported by Joe T Vannelli, Robert Owens, Erik Hagleton, John Julius Knight and so many others.

They also release “No Man” on the Javi Bora's imprint, Too Many Rules, that have climbed the Beatport and Traxsource charts.
“No Man” it was played in DJ Sets by artists like Technasia, Francky Rizardo, Danny Howard (BBC Radio1), Ferreck Dawn, Sam Divine (Defected Radio Show) and many many more...

One of the last summer track “Body Monster” it was played at Defected Croatia by Simon Dunmore, Eats Everithing, Sam Divine, Solardo, Detlef to name but a few, also it was supported in the most important party in Ibiza, like DC10, Hi Ibiza, Elrow at Ushuaia, Café Mambo and so many others.

Their strength is their passion.

Siege's connection with music runs deep. As a child he was drawn to sound for as long as he can remember. Piano lessons gave him a formal start, but electronic music quickly took over. The energy of eurotrance and the possibilities of sound design opened a new world.

Turntables soon followed. DJing was a way to share that passion, but it wasn't enough. He wanted recognition for the music itself, to create something of his own, so producing became the natural step. Over time this grew into a sound shaped by house, techno and trance, with the drive of techno, the groove of house and the melodies of trance when the track allows for them.

A defining moment came with Crunk, a rework of Mary J. Blige's "Family Affair," released on Azuli. After being swept up in an EDM wave that never felt right, this marked a return to his roots. From there his music began gaining support across the spectrum, from undrground pillars like Carl Cox and Adam Beyer to more mainstream figures such as Tiësto and David Guetta, with consistent backing from BBC Radio 1 selectors including Danny Howard and Pete Tong. Gigs grew in scale, with Tomorrowland's DreamVille stage standing out as a breakthrough, born from a simple email to the festival founder that led to a performance for thousands. His tracks went on to find a home on Toolroom, Saved and Truesoul, while shows took him from Tomorrowland to Eden Ibiza and Studio 338 in London.

Even when life pulled him away from the stage, music stayed close. Coming back was never a question of if, only when. The focus now is simple: make music, and build from there.

As one of the longest standing independent record labels in the US, Nervous Records has built its reputation through a willingness to take chances on new sounds and new producers. Nervous was the first American label to sign and release tracks from such dance industry luminaries as Armand Van Helden, Paul Van Dyk and Nuyorican Soul. This spirit has enabled Nervous to build a catalogue of hits that spans the complete range of underground dance and hip hop genres.

The label was famous almost immediately when it started back in 1991 because of its eye-catching, very distinctive cartoon character logo. In addition the first three releases were produced by Roger S., Kenny Dope, and Todd Terry respectively, representing the three best house producers of that time. By 1992 Nervous was featured in magazines like Billboard, DJ Magazine (cover story), Mixmag, and ID, hailed by all as the “Sound of New York nitelife.”

Nervous’ first major dance release came in 1992, with “Feel Like Singing” by Sandy B. Nervous decided at that point to focus its energy on expanding the label’s musical field. The label’s first step outside the house music arena was with the Brooklyn, NY-based rap group, Black Moon, whose single “Who Got The Props” virtually put Brooklyn back on the map as a center of hip hop. At the same time, the label decided to alter the Nervous character for this release, giving it specific hip hop characteristics, and calling the hip hop label Wreck Records. Massive success followed with the Wreck imprint, as hits soon followed by Smif-N-Wessun, and Funkmaster Flex.

Nervous decided to continue to expand its musical boundries in 1993 by signing Mad Lion, which would be the first reggae artist on the Weeded imprint. Once again, there was huge success as Mad Lion’s single “Take It Easy” sold over 250,000 units.

Meanwhile, the Nervous merchandise continued to produce massive sales numbers as it established itself as one of the most favored t-shirts for the youth cultures of America, Japan, and many European countries.

In 1994, the label decided it was time to move into the electronic genre, and started an imprint called Sorted. The first artist on that label was Josh Wink, who went by the artist name Winx. While Winx’s debut release was a critical success although not a major seller, Winx’s follow-up release “Don’t Laugh” became the American dance community’s most talked about single, and ended up selling several hundred thousand units worlwide. Subsequently Nervous released Winx’s debut album, “Left Above The Clouds.” This album was one of the first “electronica” albums to be released, and lead to Josh Wink being signed to Sony as an artist. Nervous also released an album by two Long Island based dj’s, DJ Micro and Vicious Vic. The album, entitled “Progress Into Our Future,” since became a seminal album for the crew of Long Island dj’s that currently dominate clubs with their hard trance sound.

In 1996, Nervous virtually single-handedly created a garage house music revival by releasing the debut solo artist album by house music legend Byron Stingily. Byron was formerly the lead singer of gold-selling group Ten City. His second single on Nervous, “Get Up,” went to number one on dance charts around the world, including the Billboard Magazine club chart in America.. For his album, “The Purist,” Nervous assembled an all-star cast of legendary House producers, including Frankie Knuckles, Masters At Work, David Morales, Basement Boys, Maurice Joshua and MK.

As the musical trends continued to evolve in the late 90’s, Nervous continued to create new imprints to remain at the cutting edge of all independent labels. Nervous Dog was created to accommodate the emerging harder-edged house sound of New York; Strapped was the home for uptempo, club oriented hip hop Party tracks; and Nervous Chill released the down tempo, jazzy grooves that are always in vogue in the newest restaurants.

The label also has had many successful tours over the years. One of the biggest was in 2,000, when the Nervous tour was sponsored by Playboy Magazine and KAMEL cigarettes, and featured DJ’s Jackie Christie, Razor-n-Guido and DJ Escape, along With PA’s by Nervous artists Byron Stingily, Charlotte And Kim English. In addition, Nervous created what became one of the Winter Music Conference’s most original Parties, the Nervous After-hours breakfast at Denny’s, which featured an International list of dj’s entertaining conference attendees at 5:00 AM while they ate their grand slam Denny’s breakfast.

In 2000 and 2001, the energy tribal sound dominated the US club and Nervous gave America’s club-goers four of the its most dominant anthems, “Skin” by Charlotte, “Ssst…Listen” by Jonah, “Unspeakable Joy” by Kim English and Dive In The Pool by Barry Harris featuring Pepper Meshay. During this same time, the label has also created many successful compilation series, among them “Hip Hop Independent’s Day,” and “Future Progressive,” and “Club Nervous.

As the hits grew in number, so did the value of the catalogue for sampling purposes. Nervous songs have been sampled in major hits by Mariah Carey, New Edition, Coolio, Flip Squad, Basement Jax, George Michael, Soulsearcher and more..

In 2006 Nervous gave the US one of the biggest dance radio records with What A Feeling by Peter Luts & Dominico, a track which won the 2007 WMC award for Best Euro Dance track. In addition, Nervous delivered the most memorable US underground track of the year with Ralph Falcon – I Need Someone, which was also number one club record of 2007 according to Billboard Magazine.

In 2008 Nervous had two of the top five most played records of the year at dance radio, with Bellatrax feat. Sophia May/I Can’t Help Myself and Every Word by Ercola featuring Daniella, and ended the year as the two most played label at dance radio in the USA according to Billboard Magazine.

Nervous has also made a strong foray into the compilation market, building a roster with some of the most credible house music. The past twelve months has seen full length cd’s from Oscar G, Ralph Falcon, Funkagenda, Mark Brown, Behrouz, Chris Lake, Starkillers & Austin Leeds, DJ Theo, Exacta and Marlon D. Second half of 2009 will see releases from Danny Krivit, Frankie Knuckles, Tom Stephan, Peter Bailey and Richie Santana and Anane (produced by Louie Vega. 

In the grand tradition of Nervous launching sub-labels to embrace the next sounds to take over Nitelife ... In 2011 we launched Nurvous Records.  With the Indie Dance / Nu-Disco sound that has erupted from England and is now barreling towards full speed in America, one of our primary goals is to provide innovative homegrown style; and bringing back emotion to the music, squashing the over-commercialized big-room invasion.
