Gulu City in northern Uganda has a notorious young floating population known as the aguu. They are feared! In this interview, Science Journalist William Odinga interviews two research assistants at Gulu University – Patrick Ochen and Patrick Kabwijamu - who are freely interacting with these young people. The Project the Patricks are working on is CONSCOV – Consequences of COVID-19 on Youth Reproductive Health – headed by Dr. Agatha Alidri and funded by DANIDA. Their interactions and research should offer useful insights to policymakers and the general public, especially in Gulu City.
