I reminisce of a time when life wasn't like this.

but at the same time I am glad I am not alone with this feeling.
 In these dark times, 
I can’t let it beat me.
 So, creativity is the way for me. 
With so much time in my hands, 
I can venture fantasy lands 
and with no plans in sight.
 I fight all inner desires with all my might 
and aim higher.
 My life feels messy like a california fire.
 The world feels a blaze but not the nature side. 
It comes from those who use their keyboards while they hide. 
Sharing their opinions like it will change anything. 
Even though I am sharing mine at least I can create happy things. 
Maybe, today I am not happy but I am hoping tomorrow will be great. 
Maybe some amazing ideas to create.
 No timeframe so it doesn’t matter if I am late. 
Worry then interrupts and plagues the mind. 
Suicidal thoughts I don't want but they appear in constant remind.
 I wish they’d go away, so I stumble to pick up a controller to play but in my mind it feels like wasted time. 
No matter what I do I can’t go outside. 
Instead I hide in my bed and plead for death.
 I wish this would end but regardless
 of when this Virus ends will we even have money left to spend?
 Wishful thinking for the world would go back to the way it was
 but I hope for a better result. 
No insults. 
I just want some change and see a world being peaceful. 
I hope for more greetings and smiling from people.
 I hope no one takes life for granted anymore.
 I hope people say yes more when asked to go outdoors.
I wish for no more depression 
and hope people actually learn this lesson. 
The world doesn’t revolve around you. 
I wish for more kindness and appreciation from people , regardless of your political views.
No one should be alone. 
The mind can’t handle it. 
All the crazy shit that hits your head. 
The negative words it says. 
That harmful voice that creates a painful choice.
What do we do when all this has ended?
 Do we immediately go back to those we befriended?
 or do we stay in our selfish ways? 
After this nothing should be normal.
No need to be formal.
We took life for granted 
and that left us stranded. 
The human race deserves to be reprimanded
 for the chaos it's caused.
For  All the fighting and how we pollute
 We deserve this solitude. 
We need people to wake up and start caring for one another. 
Start treating your fellow man like a brother. 
Follow the rules so no one sees six feet under. 
I try to bottle up everything inside but its a lie
 a facade 
and I feel like a fraud
 because obviously my thinking is flawed 
because I am not on my knees praying to god. 
I am not looking for applause. 
I'm not looking to start a cause.
 I just want our hearts and minds to start syncing
 but then again wishful thinking.
