William Arist (William Aristegui) is a DJ, producer, and teacher from Uruguay, with a passion for exploring sound and sharing knowledge. His music blends a heavy, contemporary take on techno, leading to releases on respected labels and support from established artists in the scene.

Beyond his personal projects, he runs Espacio Sonoro, a music production school that has welcomed students from over 15 countries, and Perseverancia Records, a label that continues to grow thanks to a dedicated community.
He also collaborates with other educational platforms and schools, offering masterclasses and lectures worldwide.

Currently, he is focused on expanding ARIST, a platform that centralizes his labels and music production tools, aiming to create more opportunities for artists and producers within an independent and collaborative ecosystem.

DJ, Pianist and musical instrument enthusiast.
Began his contact with music from a very early age, he started studying piano and music theory at the age of six.
Years later, he graduated from piano and other musical instruments and has participated in several contests, winning special awards.

He fell drawn to electronic music in his 20’s and decided to become more proficient about it attending several courses, workshops and applying the musical skills acquired over the years to develop his technique. 

As a crew member of the collective The Groove Mafia, techno is the style that captivates him, his sets stand out for combining intense-hypnotic and groovy sounds through a dynamic and harmonic mix, which derive on a versatile and individual style. Nowadays, he is finishing producing his own tracks.
