Daniel Kenneth Libby, a Colorado native with deep midwestern roots, is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and traditional folk musician. Daniel was a founding member of The Floorbirds and has appeared at the 2007 & 2008 Tanned Tin Festival in Spain, the 2008 SXSW festival in Austin, TX, and at the 2008 & 2009 Bristol Rhythm and Roots Reunion, in TN/VA. 

Raised in Minnesota, he was involved in the vibrant Dinkytown, West Bank, and Northeast folk music scenes. Daniel currently resides in Mineral Point Wisconsin and is performing solo, as well as with The Firesides, and the High Street Revelers. 

Daniel’s music is featured in the films Cowboys: A Documentary Portrait, and A Short Distance, a film about the Tanned Tin Music Festival. Daniel’s music was also featured in an award-winning series of commercials for Cavender's.

Brittany Ann Tranbaugh (pronounced TRAN-baw) is a Philadelphia-based songwriter whose queer Americana heartbreaker “Kiss You” won Song of the Year in the 2021 John Lennon Songwriting Contest. Tranbaugh has been writing songs and playing shows since she was a teenager, but in February 2023, at 31 years old, she finally quit her office job to pursue a full-time career in music. On March 24th 2023, Tranbaugh released the exuberant long-distance-relationship anthem “Can’t Wait No Rush,” produced by Grammy-winner Tyler Chester. Listeners can expect three more singles this summer and a full EP in the fall. The new songs showcase Tranbaugh in her new era: energetic, self-assured, surrounded by her beloved musical community, and more commanding as a vocalist and writer than ever before.

Staying true to tradition while maintaining a bold irreverence is something that rarely goes hand-in-hand. But Hogslop String Band manages to walk that line, with their roots in old-time string band music, and their energy based in wild rock-and-roll, you could almost call them punk purists. 

It’s an unlikely combination, but given the talents of singer and fiddler Kevin Martin; guitarist, harmonica player and singer Gabriel Kelley; mandolin player and singer Will Harrison; banjo player and singer Daniel Binkley, and bassist and all-round entertainer Pickle, they pull it off with natural ease. The name alone hints at their wacky ways, but catching them live will give you a true sense of these bizarre, seemingly contradictory descriptions. 

They thrive on crossing genres, casting off the confines of straight old-time and bluegrass, delving into a deep repertoire of rock, folk, psychedelic, and original numbers that can only be described as,"The Hogslop Sound." It’s clear that these boys are going places, and they've quickly become one of the most unique and exhilarating outfits on the scene today. “It only gets weirder from here,” they often say from stage. They're not kidding.
