This one is my first new mix in over a year and a half; it's dedicated to what has become my favourite musical space: expansive, melodic, spacious and weighty dubwise/dubtechno music. Starting at around 112 bpm and ending at 160 over the course of almost 2 and a half hours, this is a mix I'd been meaning to put together for some time now and I'm so happy to share it now. As always, listen on some quality speakers or headphones; this sort of music especially benefits from proper low end as you know.

Recorded in Serato on two Technics 1200s, a Rane 72MKII and with live dubbing on a Benidub dub siren and Roland space echo pedal.

Broken Beat - Liquid Mix

This is a recording of my vinyl set from Shambhala Music Festival 2019, Opening set for The Cedar Lounge stage at The Grove. Recording took place post festival. The Focus of this set was to keep it diverse, cinematic and psychedelic. Really wanted to incorporate some of my early musical inspirations while delivering some fresh sounds. Mix comes with a few mistakes and that vinyl crackle.

Since 2007 The Willisist has been pushing the underground in Vancouver. With well over 300 shows hosted, at just about every venue the city had to offer, showcasing international headliners as well as the best new and veteran locals.  Still known for the now legendary False-o-Ween series, some massive NYE events at W2 and The Hive Climbing gym, and long running local nights with Nautilus and the Back Stage Lounge, he's also been a regular at Basscoast, and played Shambs and Wicked Woods. 

With a genuine love for Drum and Bass he has opened or hosted for the likes of Calibre, D-Bridge, Andy C, Dub FX, Dub Phizix, Blu Mar Ten, LSB, Spectrasoul, Breakage, High Contrast, Pendulum, Von D, Netsky and dozens more.
