LiT MIX 027 is a dynamic rollercoaster of a drum & bass set from DJ Bungzo of Bristol’s BootybassDJs crew. With a real ear for melody and momentum for the derriere, we love how they bounce us between dancehall-infused modern jungle and soulful/r’n’b-flavoured footwork. 

We're also stoked to announce this mix kicks off an ongoing LiT MIX showcase of Bristol’s vibrant multi-genre DJ squad the BootyBassDJs. With members representing for greater cultural inclusion within the spectrum of gender, race and sexuality; while playing booty-shaking sounds of all genres, pace and sensibility, the crew is stacked with tastemaking party-starter selectors Bungzo, Ngaio, Hannza, Devolicious, Adibah, Boz, Xylo & Fabienne. If you’re lucky enough to catch this crew throw down live, do not miss the infectious energy and incredible music! 

We are honoured now during Pride month (which we celebrate all year) to feature this wicked dnb set from Bungzo who is such a fierce advocate for stronger LGBTQ+ involvement and respect in the drum and bass community specifically. Yes selecta! There is such strong tension and release in this set, it really feels like a soundtrack for the summer of dancing together again.

Since 2007 The Willisist has been pushing the underground in Vancouver. With well over 300 shows hosted, at just about every venue the city had to offer, showcasing international headliners as well as the best new and veteran locals.  Still known for the now legendary False-o-Ween series, some massive NYE events at W2 and The Hive Climbing gym, and long running local nights with Nautilus and the Back Stage Lounge, he's also been a regular at Basscoast, and played Shambs and Wicked Woods. 

With a genuine love for Drum and Bass he has opened or hosted for the likes of Calibre, D-Bridge, Andy C, Dub FX, Dub Phizix, Blu Mar Ten, LSB, Spectrasoul, Breakage, High Contrast, Pendulum, Von D, Netsky and dozens more.
