Las piezas musicales que contienen este minúsculo espacio cibernético estan construidas con un antiguo piano electrónico GM y el secuenciador en desuso Logic Platinum 5.3, no utilizo samples, los ritmos son construidos con las herramientes del secuenciador y con la ayuda de algún Vst. Las pistas que componen las piezas estan mezcladas con audio y midi. La pista original es importada por el secuenciador en formato wave. Soundcloud permite un número limitado de pistas en razón a su duración o a su tamaño, si pagas, no tienes limites. Asi que, cuando subo una pista, automáticamente se eliminan algunas para dejar sitio a la nueva. Para mi este es un gran lugar de encuentro, donde compartir nuevas ideas y apredender. Espero que les sirva de algo esta musica.

The musical pieces that contain this tiny cyber space are built with an old GM electronic piano and the outdated Logic Platinum 5.3 sequencer, I don't use samples, the rhythms are built with the tools of the sequencer and with the help of some Vst. The tracks that make up the pieces are mixed with audio and midi. The original track is imported by the sequencer in wave format. Soundcloud allows a limited number of tracks due to their duration or size, if you pay, you have no limits. So when I upload a track, some are automatically removed to make way for the new one. For me this is a great meeting place, where to share new ideas and learn. I hope this music is of some use to you.

Oleh Zaychenko chose the name Bring Prudence because he wanted to be right next to Bring Crosby and Bright Eyes on his clickwheel iPod. It wasn’t until many years later that he realized Bing didn’t actually have an “r” in his name.

After moving to the Chicago suburbs from Ukraine in 2003, Zaychenko started writing poems and recording songs into his cell phone to cope with isolation. By 16, he saved up enough money from his Dunkin’ Donuts job to buy Jasmine — his only acoustic guitar to date. 

Having played in several high-school and college bands (Bad Bad Hats, Pursued By a Bear, Win Win), Oleh decided to move to Brooklyn and focus on Bring Prudence. In 2010, he released his first EP, Engineers, pioneering the “electronnui” sound, which he defines as “electronic music but sadder.” His melodic EP Aliens followed suit in 2013, earning praise from The Current, BIRP, Indie Rock Cafe, Recent Music Heroes, Echolalia Radio, and The Bomarr Blog. 

Zaychenko’s next release was profoundly impacted by Sparrow Night — a weekly mixed-media workshop of local Brooklyn musicians, artists, and poets held in the kitchen of his Crown Heights apartment. Zaychenko would write and bring in a new song every Sunday. The resulting album, Red Horses, explored themes of seduction, alienation, and loss of innocence over sparse acoustic arrangements, supplemented only by the lush bass and piano of Jared van Fleet (Beirut, Voxtrot). 

Described as “smooth, striking vocals running loosely over his simple acoustic guitar” (Impose Magazine) and “a body of work that can be dissected into witticism-thoughts” (Elevatrtrax), Red Horses (2016) gained wider exposure for Bring Prudence on the New York singer-songwriter stage, leading to performances at venues like the Bowery Electric, Pianos, Cake Shop, Rockwood Music Hall, and the Way Station.

Christopher Willits is an artist, musician, and guitarist who creates immersive ambient music. As one of the core artists on the Ghostly International label roster since the early 2000s, Willits has continually evolved his craft, producing one of the most diverse and prolific catalogs within contemporary ambient music. Releases span introspective solo albums, widescreen audiovisuals, and unbridled collaborations. His process is an expression of love, inspired by an international audience of listeners, and the conviction that music can catalyze personal transformation and spiritual awakening.

Willits began his career with a string of critically acclaimed albums on the 12k label. The minimal sound introduced on those recordings remains at the core of his work: warm guitar tones woven into smooth, harmonic surfaces. Willits made his Ghostly International full-length debut with 2006 landmark Surf Boundaries. He’d expand his vision next through collaboration, working with Ryuichi Sakamoto (2008’s Ocean Fire and 2012’s Ancient Future), Zach Hill of Death Grips, Taylor Deupree, and, for 2014 LP Opening, with the whole band of Tycho. He also lent a hand in mastering the latter’s album Awake, composed the original score for documentary The Art of Listening, and continues to lead music production and meditation classes in San Francisco.

In 2017, Willits put forth Horizon, the first ever spatial audio release on Ghostly International. The album’s innovative 3D mix is mapped to surround listeners and align with sleep patterns, meditation, and other mindful practices. Willits is also the director and co-founder of the nonprofit, Envelop; leading a mission to amplify the connective power of music through immersive audio venues and spatial audio production tools. Like Horizon, his 2019 album Sunset utilizes Envelop’s cutting-edge technology to encourage listening from within. The five compositions move from warm to cool designed as a soundtrack to embrace the day's end; a collective letting go. Another skyward, pioneering project from an artist who occupies a unique corner of the electronic music universe.
