My name is Will MacBride. I'm a jazz/fusion/rock pianist, guitarist, and singer/song writer. I started learning music at a young age and by high school was playing classical, jazz, and rock/pop piano. Playing initially with my high school jazz band and with friends, I subsequently performed with The Connecticut All State Jazz Ensemble, a state wide high school all star band. I also began playing the guitar and writing songs in my late teens

After high school I attended Berklee College of Music in Boston and The New School for Social Research in Greenwich Village, New York City. At the latter I studied with noted jazz pianist Walter Davis Jr. , who in turn had studied with Thelonious Monk and was internationally known for carrying on the piano giant's stylistic and aesthetic tradition.

Over the years I have been involved in a fairly wide variety of musical projects ranging across the jazz/rock/contemporary music continuum and playing shows at diverse locales and venues. I find that performing with versatility and eclecticism, spanning a spectrum of contemporary genres, gives me a sense of musical freedom and interactively informed context.

Recently I have been focusing on performance here in the Rogue Valley, playing jazz, blues, and rock piano and guitar in solo and group situations  at a number of different local venues.
