Losers began as an idea with two kindred spirits in the countryside studio of one of the noughties most interesting and underrated bands, The Cooper Temple Clause. The idea pupated, other musicians became involved, two kindred spirits became three and a butterfly emerged, beautiful, ready to take to the wind. 

Two albums into their career, they moved to Berlin, to be more inspired and signed a publishing deal with BMG. The idea pupated once more and the butterfly that emerged was darker, but much more powerful. 

The beauty and power of Losers has been acknowledged by some of the most beautiful and powerful TV shows for the Netflix generation. Game Of Thrones, The Blacklist, Reign, Black Sails, just part of a long list of epic and often groundbreaking television series that have used Losers music. 

The momentum that the band garnered in their Berlin studio under the production gaze of multi-instrumentalist Tom Bellamy was breathtaking and saw their music also used by high impact films like Hercules and Upgrade (from the director of the Saw franchise). 

But things don’t always go the way you want them to. The darkness of the Brandenburg forest, the isolation of the studio deep in that forest and the consequent downward spiral of all three members of the band saw the toughest couple of years imaginable and an album, ‘How To Ruin Other People’s Futures’, which reflected this pain and despair. 

Through their pain, Losers found an opportunity to grow, to transform and for them, the only way out was up. What emerged was the most spectacular butterfly the band could have ever envisaged and a journey ahead that continues to be unstoppable. With Paul Mullen’s soaring vocals taking them ever higher,

Losers decided to galvanize the live band into a two piece which is where they find themselves today. More focused, free and poised for anything that gets in their way. 

Thanks to long time collaborators like Damian Taylor (Björk, UNKLE, The Killers, Arcade Fire and Austra), and Dan Austin (Doves, Massive attack) Losers music sounds more expansive than ever. There is a balance that was missing before. The rage has turned to wisdom and the despair to hope. Their songs now look less within themselves and more at the world around them, a world in balance, with joy and sadness, with clarity and confusion, with contrast and with color. 

Losers are about to fly, and this time, they may never come down.

Rebecca King is a 24-year-old singer/songwriter originally from London now Living in Nottingham. She has been singing since the very young age of three but has been perfecting her craft for the past few years working on finding her own unique sound. Spending every spare moment working on her music, Rebecca gets inspiration for her music from from Neo-Soul and RnB acts such as Janelle Monae, Musiq Soulchild, Erykah Badu and many more. Clearly fond of smooth, sultry vocals, something she embodies thoroughly as her pitch perfect tones are simultaneously uplifting yet still blues laden.
Ms King wants to use her words and voice to share insights at every opportunity, even if writing is a very new craft to her. With a bag of personal struggles from the past few years Rebecca’s now got all the material she needs to get started, having had an appropriate time to heal and learn so she can really spread her wisdom. You can see through Rebecca's eyes into the soul of her words and music. They radiate the sheer power and commitment to her artistry. Translating her pain into positivity and inspiration is what will ensure she builds rapport with women and girls all over.                                                                                    ‘It doesn’t matter to me whether I’m a global artist selling out tours or just playing intimate gigs at the Jazz Cafe, if people are coming because they like my music and can find something to relate to I’ll be the happiest girl in the world.’  


Skinner is an artist from Leeds, creating a range of electronic music with pop/r'n'b/hip-hop/soul influences topping them off with her powerful and potent voice. 
BBC Introducing presenter Jericho Keys describes her sound as 'Sassy, soulful and sexy'. Her songs are regularly, broadcast on stations including BBC Radio 1, BBC 1XTRA BBC Radio 6, BBC Radio York and more. 
Skinner has also received support from the likes of Huw Stephens on Radio 1 and recently was named BBC Introducing Artist of the week on BBC Radio 1XTRA where her music was played everyday on the station. 
Skinner has also had a string of successful live appearances across the UK including her performances at both the legendary Leeds and Reading Festivals.

Lence is a Rap and Spoken Word Artist from Leeds. Blurring the lines of Poetry and Rap with a fast, passionate style of music, writing about his own experiences. Lence has performed at the BBC 1xtra Words First Festival, organised a sold out show at Leeds Playhouse and has recently been played on BBC 6 Music.

The Ninth Watch are a four piece indie band from Manchester [UK].

The band is fronted by vocalist and guitarist Stephen Ahern formerly of Dirty Circus (Sony Columbia Records), with Mike Fieldhouse also on guitar, Ian Holden on bass and Matt Ryan on drums and percussion.

The Ninth Watch have recorded tracks with producers Neil Treppas, Seadna McPhail (producer of tracks for Elbow, Badly Drawn Boy, Happy Mondays, Inspiral Carpets and I Am Kloot plus many more) and recently Gareth Nuttall of The Lounge.
