As part of my Arts Council of Wales work as a Creative Practitioner, I've been appointed CP at Willows High School for 14 weeks. We're making a series of 6 LIVE RADIO shows with class 7BE and a further 8 with class 7MO with some of the talent from 7BE thrown in for good measure!

Best Bits From Show No8

First broadcast on Wednesday 16th of January 2019, this is show number twelve of fourteen and is part of the School's LCS project this year.

Year 7MO and 6 Students from 7BE worked with our CP Russell Prue for the first time today and produced this stunning live radio show. The broadcast is presented here as a podcast without the copyright music.

We've continued with our studio in the cupboard to maintain a uniform working environment for the young folks but added some YR7BE Students to the group of MAT Students.

We're still asking for sponsors and for people to get in touch who might like to advertise on our station in the coming months. We'll be reaching a huge audience who will mostly live in and around the School. This is the perfect opportunity for those with businesses, clubs and organisations who have products, services and events they might like to promote. There were no special guests this week but we did do something new. We worked completely off-script, only bringing notes and keywords into the studio and the result was fantastically better than we could ever have expected.

This was our celebration show and was broadcast live in front of a live invited audience of Parents and local dignitaries and Staff. 

Special guests this week came from Matt of the Oasis Centre in Splott, Miss Charles chatting about Safeguarding and Safer Internet Day and our Headteacher Mr Chris Norman.

This was our very best broadcast and has something for everyone!
