Originally recorded in 2003. "Happy New Year",  by Willpilot was the last song recorded on WP's Woodchip studio's 16 track 1" Tascam Tape Machine. Following a year in Canada as a response to the Iraq War build up and protest efforts at that time. The Song was performed a handful of times live during 2003 & 2010 usually around the X-mas/New Years shows. 2020 seemed like a good time to finally release the song for free considering the ongoing global pandemic and social political divides happening worldwide. After a long year (understatement) we decided to write a track about losing yourself to unfortunate events of reality. There isn't much you can do about it but accept it. This funk anthem was written so you could dance the bad 2020 vibes off of ya.
