Colliding Reveries is the climactic 3rd single this year from Dr. J! Treading the line between contemporary drum & bass and ruff, old-school jungle, it features delicate piano improvisation married with chopped breaks, tearing bass drops and uplifting orchestration.

Originally written as part of a theatre soundtrack, Colliding Reveries charts the wrestling with hope one man faces whilst being imprisoned with ISIS fighters for his faith in Jesus against a backdrop of imposing, even threatening sonic architecture.We're given a brief breather before being invited into those moments of realisation ahead of his release. Holding the tension of hope - daring to hope for freedom, whilst not wishing to lose sight of the ultimate prize in euphoric, triumphant style.

This is the 3rd of 3 singles released this year, following on from Elevation and Ultima Salita. Plans are afoot for more music next year - so follow if you haven't already to hear about it first!

this song came from a time when I was hounded by intrusive thoughts, anxiety and insomnia - the only way I could find presence was to lose myself in loud music.

"Old Mess" began as an intimate piano and vocal track, born in the hushed hours of a front room at 2 AM. It's a testament to Kim's refined skill in crafting music that feels familiar, resonating with anyone who has ever yearned for closure. It has since transformed with Kim’s band who provide a rich raw canvas for her soulful powerful melody lines.

This track is about someone being tough on the outside but vulnerable on the inside. 
It's all an exterior shell / front that they show to the world but really they are delicate and caring.

Lancashire born Will Riding, now based in Chester, is an acoustic guitarist and songwriter, his honest and occasionally playful songs reflect the common experiences we all share from childhood onwards.
He started writing his own songs to go with the folk standards he’d sing in and around Chester. Encouraged by the reception they received, he continues to write and is getting them out to a wider audience. Amongst other things, he has supported the late Julie Felix, Harp and A Monkey, Emma Stevens and Mark Radcliffe’s Galleon Blast as well as playing several songwriting showcases for Pete Morton.
