Ever since the original of this came up as a suggestion on Spotify a year or so ago I've been listening to Art School Girlfriend's music on repeat (highly recommend you check out both of her albums). 

It inspired me to make this deep melodic house remix of it as I think it fits perfectly with her vocals.

Art School Girlfriend - Is It Light Where You Are (Robin Cooper Remix)

Just over an hour of tunes from the last couple of months that I'm really loving at the moment. 

In addition to this, there is one of my remixes and a classic tune from 2004.  I always include at least one older tune in my sets as it's too easy to get sucked into the transient nature of music and only play things that are brand new - this one is something I first heard on Marco V's 2004 Essential Mix (along with another Luke Chable tune) and stands up really well today.

Will Tait is a Nottingham born guitarist currently studying at the Royal Northern College of Music. He has been writing and performing music from the age of 12, and playing guitar since age 9. He has performed and recorded with acts of varying genres.

Will currently performs and records with Nottingham based rock band The Moonwhiskey Soul Jam, who finished the recording of their latest EP in summer 2010 with JPM Music, a highly acclaimed studio in Nottingham. As part of The Moonwhiskey Soul Jam, he played many gigs around the Midlands, including sold out shows at venues such as The Maze and The Running Horse, which have played host to acts such as Newton Faulkner, Joe Bonamassa and Andy McKee. As well as work in bands, he has helped record a 5 track EP with singer songwriter Helen Turner, who gained popularity when featured on BBC East Midlands' new music website.

Will is also a teacher, and has mentored younger musicians in coordination with Nottinghamshire County Youth Arts, who he has been associated with since the start of their “The Works” programme in 2004. This programme includes live practice, recording and performances, at venues such at the Palace Theatre in Mansfield, Nottingham.

Will was recently selected to study under established session guitarist Johnny Heyes at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, and regularly works at Blueprint Studios in Salford as part of the course, a studio boasting clients such as Justin Timberlake, Snoop Dogg and Elbow. As well as Johnny Heyes, he has studied under reputable UK guitarists such as John Wheatcroft, Martin Goulding and Guthrie Govan, taking part in tuition and performances at the International Guitar Festival in Bath.

Will continues to write and perform, and is always looking out for new musical ventures to be part of.
