Debut solo project written, recorded, and produced by multi-instrumentalist Wilson Palmer

Drawing on influences across blues-rock, psych, funk, and indie, ‘Seeing Time’ contains a variety of styles sure to satisfy any listener. 

Lyrically, the music is about Wilsons life and musings on the larger workings of the universe, and how these themes tie together (or don’t). Born out of mental health struggles in the wake of his fathers passing, and sparked by an incident of psychosis (or ‘bad acid trip’) triggered by strong cannabis, the album reaches deep into Wilson’s ethos to produce a variety of emotional responses. Musically, the album touches on influences like Talking Heads, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Cory Wong, Bon Iver, King Gizzard, Phish, Panda Bear, and more. Wilson enjoys listening to and melding together a wide variety of genres, to create something familiar yet fresh. Despite being a one man band, Wilson strove to capture a live, energetic sound in the studio. This was accomplished by re-recording each instrument in circles, each time playing alongside a new take from a different instrument.
