Makes me the impression of some light and swinging hit for a music variety show with some crooner and plenty of dancers, the arrangement sounds great with piano, woodwinds and drums and the song suits perfectly the lyrics also fantastic!

This song was written in 2008, while learning to reopen my hardened heart after it was wounded.  It's quite painful, but if you let it unfold naturally, all the pain will be behind you and you won't have to carry it anymore.
Pathways will open and if you are fortunate, you'll meet someone kind, like Wim Oudijk.  This song would be nothing but ashes without his magical, musical ability.   He had nothing to work with  but a shred of distorted audio that I'd carried out of the fire.  His heart told him to help me bring this song to you and I love him for it.  That, my friends, is what Christmas is about.  Love.

This miniature for strings and piano, was written for my sister who celebrated her birthday recently. It is in a neo-romantic style, possibly reminiscent of the 1940s. The contrabass is largely absent, as I felt it didn't suit the piece - not that I have anything the mighty string member!

This song was written in celebration of the first year of life, lived by a tiny little girl.   Born a wee 3 pounds, and 8 weeks early, she fought to survive.  She is thriving on her first birthday, strolling through the neighborhood, smelling the flowers, and singing her own happy little word sounds to this instrumental collaboration by her Nana, (Annie Banannie) and our beloved,  Maestro Wim Oudijk.  My three tracks are the first professionally recorded by Tom Angeletti, of Thomas Angeletti Studio.
