Two years after the release of the original, Italian producer Luca Agnelli steps up with a ferocious rework of ‘Friends,’ originally by Dimitri Vegas, Steve Aoki and Chapter & Verse. Dropping on House of House, this remix flips the script, bursting the track into darker territory with Luca’s signature hard techno edge.

Where the 2023 version delivered an energetic and uplifting house groove, Agnelli’s 2025 take drives the track straight to the gates of hell. Heavy kicks and brutal claps dominate the mix, injecting raw power and unrelenting tension into every bar. Built for warehouses, late nights, and maximum impact, this remix is an unfiltered dose of industrial strength energy, bordering hardstyle at times but always grounded in his uncompromising vision of techno.

A key name in Italy’s techno scene, Luca Agnelli is known for powerful, high-octane sets and a fearless approach to production. Founder of Etruria Beat, he has championed cutting-edge techno since 2010 and released on a string of highly respected imprints including NineTimesNine, Blackworks, Soma, and Drumcode. His live sets have taken him to major clubs and festivals across Europe, from Amsterdam to Ibiza.

Agnelli’s remix of ‘Friends’ is not just a rework - it’s a complete transformation. Retaining the essence of the original while driving it into much harder territory.
