Hey Nigel man, I always know I'm in for a treat when I visit your page and see a new one up. Love those oboe triplets that keep popping up in here. Your sax work is thrilling, too, of course. I really like the subtle role the bass plays in here, too. Another spectacular song from you, my friend. Way to go with it!

I've been tinkering with work/life balance for 50 years, and this sounds like my memory of trying to attain it somewhere back there. FInally, I have made some progress!

D-Cold Ballad

((**apologies for not being on Soundcloud nearly as often as I used to... I try to catch up on all the great music you are all putting out there just may take some time!**))

This tune is another variation of an old original piano melody that's gone through several drastic 'evolutions', appearing in a number of my other songs. In this version I'm playing a harp sound on the keyboard run through an arpeggiator. sounds very Enya-esque.
