Surreal Space

Established in 2032, Mega-City One was conceived as an answer to the massive overcrowding plaguing the cities of North America. Originally designed to house 350 million citizens, the population of Mega-City One soon swelled to an astounding 800 million people, a number that would remain constant until the city was devastated by the effects of the Atomic Wars - the Great Atom War of 2070 and later the Apocalypse War of 2104, which reduced its population to 400 million people with living space for half that number. Due to a number of other disasters and crises that have affected the city, and immigration to Mega-City One, the population remained stable until 2134. Following the Day of Chaos, the city has been reduced to a devastated minor state.

Sloppy, improvisational, expressive. You're used to that, right? There are things I would go back and change (if I ever go back) but this will serve.

sparrows in the rain (Naviarhaiku 236)

my submission for naviar haiku 236:

an evening cloudburst
sparrows cling desperately
to trembling bushes

this patch uses two noise sources, and after modulated filtering these are fed to a resonator, and then to two instances of clouds, one in time stretcher mode, and one in spectral madness mode. plateau provides reverb with a long delay tail.

windspace began exploring electronic music in 1982 using analog synthesizers and in recent years has gravitated to ambient music. windspace today mostly uses computers to produce his music, but occasionally some ancient hardware sees the light of day. He also releases more experimental and extreme music under the name of ho66it.  He records his music now in Colorado where he resides with his greatest supporter...his wonderful wife.
