¡Último combate de DeathMatch Series! Todo lo bueno se acaba... pero despedimos el proyecto a lo grande con un VS diferente y muy especial, ¡donde los ritmos rotos son los protagonistas! En esta ocasión, dos icónicas artistas de la escena Breakbeat nos han regalado un set contundente y animado. Ambas son fundadoras del colectivo de mujeres DJs y productoras andaluzas Show Me Now. Con tod@s ustedes:

· MBREAKS: MBREAKS es una DJ y productora sevillana especializada en Bassline, 2Step y Breaks. Es copropietaria de la promotora PureBassline y responsable del sello benéfico Producers x Dogs. En 2027, fue ganadora del premio a Mejor DJ Revelación en los International Breaks Awards (IBA). Con más de 8 años de experiencia en cabina, es conocida por hacer bailar a Andalucía cada vez que actúa. La joven DJ se caracteriza por su sonrisa y buen rollo en cabina, con sesiones cargadas de Funky Bbreaks, Retro y Bassline. Próximamente, MBREAKS actuará en festivales de la talla de Dreambeach, Monegros, Summer, Winter y en varios lugares de toda España.

· POWAH: Celia, también conocida como POWAH, es una joven gaditana con un gran interés por la música electrónica, especialmente el Breakbeat y el Drum & Bass. Desde hace varios años, ha sentido una gran curiosidad por ser DJ, lo que le ha permitido abrirse camino y actuar en festivales como Oasis Festival y ArteSamba, además de pinchar en numerosas salas de toda Andalucía.

Last battle of the DeathMatch Series! All good things must come to an end... but we are wrapping up the project in style with a different and very special VS, where broken beats take center stage! This time, two iconic artists from the Breakbeat scene have given us a powerful and lively set. Both are founders of the Andalusian women DJs and producers collective, Show Me Now. Presenting to you:

· MBREAKS: MBREAKS is a DJ and producer from Seville specializing in Bassline, 2Step, and Breaks. She is the co-owner of the promoter PureBassline and responsible for the charity label Producers x Dogs. In 2027, she won the Best New DJ award at the International Breaks Awards (IBA). With over 8 years of experience in the booth, she is known for making Andalusia dance every time she performs. The young DJ is characterized by her smile and good vibes in the booth, with sets full of Funky Breaks, Retro, and Bassline. Soon, MBREAKS will be performing at festivals such as Dreambeach, Monegros, Summer, Winter, and various places throughout Spain.

· POWAH: Celia, also known as POWAH, is a young woman from Cádiz with a great interest in electronic music, especially Breakbeat and Drum & Bass. For several years, she has been deeply curious about becoming a DJ, which has allowed her to make her way and perform at festivals like Oasis Festival and ArteSamba, as well as DJing in numerous venues throughout Andalusia.

Es un enorme placer para mi, compartir con todos vosotros la sesión que hice en el cierre del BREAKBEAT FEST. Evento organizado por INDUSTRIAL COPERA el pasado Sábado 9 de Noviembre del 2019, con un line-up de lujo para esta tercera edición. BARTDON, DEEKLINE, COLOMBO, KOMA & BONES, ALTERN 8, DJ KULTUR y RASCO (sin olvidarnos de SPEAKER REALITY). 

Desde que se abrieron las puertas, el público demostró esas ganas de disfrutar desde el principio, fiesta llena hasta arriba y otro FIESTON que hemos vivido en la mejor sala de Andalucía. Vaya espectáculo de luces, de sonido, de música y que buen ambiente, si aun no has venido, no te pierdas la cuarta edición... Va a ser la bomba. 

Días antes, avisé que este cierre iba a ser muy especial, así fue para mi y para todos los asistentes. Es por ello, que decidí subir este set para que sea recordado de una manera especial. Si lo disfrutaste en primera persona, podrás cerrar los ojos y sentir todo lo vivido. Si no pudiste venir, aquí tienes gran parte de lo que pasó de 05:45 a 06:45 AM. Desde aquí dar nuevamente las gracias a INDUSTRIAL COPERA por volver a contar conmigo para esta misión tan importante. Granada vibra de nuevo y Andalucía empieza a despertar a golpe de ritmos rotos.

So finally after 4 years I bring to you A Golden Era of Breakbeat Volume 2.
After the overwhelming response to Volume 1 I knew that making Volume 2 was a tough challenge,  so it took a while  to make sure this mix lived up to the success of the first one. Some of the finest moments of my career have been playing Breakbeat. I feel that’s what makes this genre of music so special. I have met some of the most amazing people and experienced incredible highlights in my career.  Running 2 record labels  Against The Grain and the club night Supercharged with Lloyd (Skool Of Thought) traveling the world and sharing Breakbeats so I hope you enjoy this podcast.
