The name's Bryan but people have taken a liking to calling me 'Boitano'. I'm the Music Director/Assistant Program Director of The Zone @ 91-3 in Victoria.

You know what technology I miss? Dual tape deck players. When I was about 11 or 12, my favourite thing in the world was to make mixtapes. I first started doing it because I found it really annoying to be listening to my Sony Walkman and having to unclip it from my belt anytime I wanted to swap out my Coolio tape with my Bone Thugs-N-Harmony tape. Fast-forward about 16 years later and here I am doing the same old thing with newer technology (and less Cross-Colour brand clothing). 

I love making mixes for myself and friends and putting all my favorite tracks together. And so the Modern Rock Mixtape was born. This is a mix of some of my favorite songs and remixes I've come across. Songs that have made it difficult for me to sit still. 

Now, do I consider myself the best DJ in Victoria?? Not...even...close. But, I do know my way around a couple record players and a mixer. Thus, these tools have enabled me to present you with some of my favorite modern rock tracks.
