With humble beginnings in Diplo’s Philadelphia studio, Mad Decent’s unwavering mission is to highlight underground, genre-blurring sounds. Mad Decent tops iTunes, Beatport and Shazam charts worldwide with #1 Dance tracks and albums with releases from artists like Major Lazer, Dillon Francis, Grandtheft, Party Favor, NGHTMRE and Yellow Claw. Mad Decent is also home to Good Enuff, a launchpad for artists breaking the norm; notable releases include Bauuer’s “Harlem Shake” and DJ Snake’s “Bird Machine.” As an extension of the Mad Decent sound, Mad Decent Block Party was established in 2006 and now spans across North America and India.

Joseph Brooks is an artist, songwriter and producer in Los Angeles.

Distortion Mirrors is the moniker of classically trained pianist Luke Zero and began as a dreamy and synth heavy lo-fi bedroom project in 2011. Based in Los Angeles at the time, Distortion Mirror's early demo caught the interest of Grammy award winning engineer/producer Sylvia Massy which culminated in the Massy produced 2011 sURRism Phonoethics netlabel release of ''Circle of Wolves'', a decidedly industrial-electronic affair. Distortion Mirrors then played the L.A. scene, including The Whiskey A-Go-Go and eventually played the stage at Massy's 2012 Blackbird Underground Festival.

 In 2013, Distortion Mirrors self-released another E.P., the ''Zeros and Kings'' E.P. Spin Magazine premiered the kick-off single ''Prom Queen'', with Kyle McGovern calling the song "a fuzzy hip-shaker that lines quiet-loud dynamics with New Wave glee". ''Prom Queen'' also received international airplay and college rock radio play. 2nd single ''Death By Love'' was premiered on ''Under the Radar'' magazine, with the band favorably compared to Smashing Pumpkins.Alan Cross's music site ''A Journal of Musical Things'' reviewed the E.P. and compared it favorably to the sounds of My Bloody Valentine and Sonic Youth. ''Beats Per Minute'' said of Distortion Mirrors that "They concoct a dense, viscous amalgamation of their influences and let the sounds bounce off one another in a spiraling display of studio wizardry." The E.P. also scored an impressive 8.8 review on indie tastemaker site ''Violent Success''.
Later that year, Distortion Mirrors won The Deli Magazine Los Angeles's band of the month for September. 

In 2014, Distortion Mirrors, relocated to Leeds, England continuing their pursuit of the fuzzy distorted sonic tapestry of 90's Alternative Rock. In 2016, the band are preparing for a tour of the US and UK.
